You draw three cards and lose 3 life. Corrupted — Each opponent with three or more poison counters loses 3 life. They wished to be at important places in Mephidross. Azax-Azog fulfilled that wish.
Ancient Craving with set mechanic, anyone? We have Corrupted this time around.
I don't why i should care about my opponents' life total if i'm trying to poison them

How i feel about competitive players and casual players in EDH: The competitive are german tourists, the casual are italian tourists, both in a italian beach. The italians asking themselves "why are the germans here?" make a legitimate question, the answer is because the beach is beautiful, no matter the country you came from. The italians wanting to ban the germans are dumb, because if the germans pay for their stay and follow the rules like everyone else, they have the right to be in the beach. Hovewer, if the germans started to ask themselves "why are the italians here?"... they would be dumb as hell.

I generally agree, but there does seem to be a supported sub-theme in this set of only caring enough about poison to get your opponent to 3 and then turning on your corrupted stuff. Like how the rogue archetype in Zendikar only cared about milling an opponent to 8.
