wow! I didn't have this on the bingo sheet of a insect tribal legend. It’s crucible of worlds on a legend but throw in casting insects for that effect. And mills 2 when a insect dies. And a buff effect for them. Still missing R though since jund
I really dig this - it's Tribal and recursion with a side of land focus that plays slightly differently than the usual suspects like The Gitrog Monster and Lord Windgrace.
Reminder that Zask's second ability isn't a replacement effect. If you can give your Insects Flash (with, say, Yeva, Nature's Herald) you can easily bypass the drawback by recasting them with the trigger on the stack.
I've already been running a Xira Arien Insect tribal deck with nonhumanoid insects (no Kraul and no Nantuko but Grist is okay because Planeswalker) I'm always looking for more noncreature flavor wins for the deck (like Silkwrap from the RG Kamigawa Commander deck) so a little disappointed to see they only made a new Insect legend (which will definitely be going into the deck)

so Grist, the Hunger Tide might get a hype spike big time because of this dude.
Pretty much the other cards you can find in the pack are bundle with Saskia

Seems to be, we have a new Agrus Kos as the Boros entry, so just missing Izzet & Simic now.
