For the upcoming 2023 Pro Tour season, anyone playing in a Pro Tour or the World Championship will be getting this Secret Lair-style Jace, the Mind Sculptor. The top 16 will get a foil version.
For those planning to go to MagicCon Philadelphia, here's its exclusive Secret Lair: Look at the Kitties. For more details on the MagicCon, see here.
The problem with defining this format by what is "fun" is that everyone seems to define fun as what they don't lose to. If you keep losing to easily answered cards, that means you should improve your deck. If you don't want to improve your deck, then you should come to peace with the idea that you are going to lose because you chose to not interact with better strategies.
Oh, come on, you've got to be kittening me. The market for Look at the Kitties will be HUGE (just look at the price OMG, Kitties! demands) and they sell it at only one place??? AND I WANT IT???? That Lord Windgrace is... phenomenally cute!
Will those who order the "Festival in a box" Secret Lair online also get JTMS, or are those reserved for only those able to physically attend the event in person?
EDIT: At the very least, if the decision makers at Wotc had any honor and truly cared for their loyal consumers (some of whom have spent tens of thousands of dollars on their products over the years), they would allow anyone ordering this Lair to also order a single print-to-order copy of the 30th anniversary box (which is what Secret Lairs were supposed to be and originally marketed as) since most of us got royally screwed at no fault of our own by their website crashing after carting and being unable to check out before the product was apparently sold out and "no longer available" (as if they can't simply do another print run). I understand the marketing strategy of creating more hype through artificial scarcity, but SL's were never supposed to be printed in advance, especially in such limited quantity. What an epic fail and sham that was!
Furthermore, is everyone else also still waiting for "Heads I Win, Tails you Lose"?
How many among you paid for this product a year ago, was then informed in May that it would ship in August, then told October, and still...<crickets chirping>....NOTHING! Meanwhile, how many other sets and products have since printed and shipped? I'm no card manufacturing expert, but something doesn't add up
Ok, admittedly, it's not been debited and definitely not been shipped yet, but my order history does not dispute me buying two of the 30th Anniversary Preview kits or whatever they were called.
Point is, I had forgotten about them and did not go to buy them until like 5 hours after the sale started. Ad I got two with no complaints from the webpage, got the pre-order confirmation mail, and as stated, it's now sitting in my order history.
THEN I heard the stories about it selling out very rapidly.
I can only imagine they re-offered the unsold ones it after the mess, where a lot of people had problems ordering it or paying for it or whatever. Seems I was extremely lucky and hit a "hidden window" of (re-)availability. That is, IF it's not just another error and I'll get a "Whoops, sorry" mail in the future...
And, yeah, still waiting on the Commander deck too. Got that mail a while ago that many people must have gotten, and of course it was paid ages ago...
Are you in Europe by any chance? If so, that would explain how you were able to get that lair.
I'm in Canada, so I had to (attempt to) order from the "US store" (despite all "stores" being hosted on the same website) which was sold out much faster than the others
I just got my 30th anniversary SLs today (the bonus card is a Lotus Field -which I haven't seen listed anywhere- numbered 2023, indicating it'll probably be reprinted next year). Also, my SL commander decks are shipped and will arrive tomorrow, so if you haven't gotten the shipping notification yet, it should come really soon.

"I just got my 30th anniversary SLs today"
If you got more than one, congrats you are the reason I missed out on getting one, ONE copy. Kinda annoyed that at my LGS this one guy proudly stated that he was able to pick up 4. When asked if he was going to break them apart and trade/sell them (as I'd really like to at least get my hands on SOME of the cards) he said that he was planning on keeping them sealed. Ugh.
The problem here is MOSTLY on Wizard's behalf for being so sh***y with this whole 30th anniversary celebration, (still kinda pissed at the TWO copies of Loyal Retainers per LGS which gives me pause looking down the line at the other delicious 30th Anniversary promos as I'd like to own those too) but scalpers don't help either. Those people should feel like the scumbags they are.

Yeah, I'm in Europe, so I guess that would be an alternative explanation. Hadn't known that they assigned specific contingents to different "shops" around the world. Maybe we have less "Magic: the Scalping" here.
