For the last day of previews, Warhammer Community gives us a commissar, as a reminder that we're getting the entire Imperium in one deck. She wasn't the Commissar most of us were expecting, but she is a major named character and we could still get more.
I mean... the Imperium of Man is basically a universal sized Nazi Germany with Adolf Hitler hooked up to life support on a golden throne.
Thanks for the answers!
I don't know much about WH 40K, it had just been my impression that between Tyrranids, Chaos Gods, Necrons, (Dark) Eldar, Orcs etc. the Imperium were the next best thing to the "Good Guys."
But as someone pointed out in another thread, there are no Good Guys in WH 40K... There is only war.

Yeah no good guys. Tyranids are the closest because they go entirely on instinct and therefore by psychological definition can't be "evil".
Haven't bothered to look at these cards because overwhelm is a thing. But after seeing this, well, I might have to dig a bit deeper bc there's some good stuff in this set.
I love it for the art first and foremost.

Yeah, they're a close 2nd. Their lust for battle being a choice doesn't look good, but they're practically angels compared to nearly everyone else.

The Empire is supposed to be the most horrific and oppressive regime ever established in human history. #grimdark.
