Let me guess, you couldn't stop looking at the WUBRGGilded Lotus riff, so now the kicked Merfolk stole your creature. Can't blame you, that Lotus looks strong.
What the hell is happening in that merfolk art? Card is fun btw.

How i feel about competitive players and casual players in EDH: The competitive are german tourists, the casual are italian tourists, both in a italian beach. The italians asking themselves "why are the germans here?" make a legitimate question, the answer is because the beach is beautiful, no matter the country you came from. The italians wanting to ban the germans are dumb, because if the germans pay for their stay and follow the rules like everyone else, they have the right to be in the beach. Hovewer, if the germans started to ask themselves "why are the italians here?"... they would be dumb as hell.
Presumably, she's only controlling the goblin since she can't control multiple creatures at once.
It's a bit of a flavor fail. She should be able to control one creature for each time she's kicked considering the power of target restriction
Every way I look at that card, it feels like a worse sower of temptation
The problem with defining this format by what is "fun" is that everyone seems to define fun as what they don't lose to. If you keep losing to easily answered cards, that means you should improve your deck. If you don't want to improve your deck, then you should come to peace with the idea that you are going to lose because you chose to not interact with better strategies.

And we have some blue guy riding a creature with six legs? Sponsored by James Cameron??
(Infact………it’s another infinite with Filigree Sages your always up 2 mana in BRGW)
Also, holy crap, that's a 5 mana artifact that taps for 5.
those represent the green and red creatures she's mind controlling. green=kavu, red= goblin

I used to be a demigod, but now I'm an omnimage

Because using one card to go from 5 mana to 10 mana is pretty strong, I'd reckon.
If effectively doubling your mana on the turn it comes down then Sol Ring is mythic too.
Sol Ring was mythic in Vintage Masters at the very least.
Local MTG Forumgoer Uses Sol Ring To Justify Belief That Timeless Lotus Doesn't Feel Mythic, Genuinely Thought It Was A Smart Argument. More At Six

Probably just because the word 'lotus' is in the name.
