The green member of the Defiler cycle adds +1/+1 counters to things, because of course it does. I have no idea what this goes into except maybe Elves again.
Yeah, this seems pretty nuts in an elf deck. Also just a 6/6 trampler for 5 mana that will incidentally grow (and grow your team) as the game goes on, so this is a limited bomb too.
The problem with defining this format by what is "fun" is that everyone seems to define fun as what they don't lose to. If you keep losing to easily answered cards, that means you should improve your deck. If you don't want to improve your deck, then you should come to peace with the idea that you are going to lose because you chose to not interact with better strategies.

Yeah but this triggers of green Enchantment, Artifacts, and Planeswalkers being casted too.
