Well, I’d say it’s fairly bad. If I wanted a card for a blink deck to grab high tide, use spellseeker. If you want redundancy, I’d rather run solve the equation and gain more flexibilty for less price even if I’m counting on lots of blinking.
You run WU and you blink, you run this and Ephemerate. Kinda like people know EXACTLY what's Trinket Mage really all about. Not much else to say, seems exciting at first but it's deceptively straightforward, not nearly good enough for Modern but will probably see play in Commander and Historic.
For 1 more mana, you get a third of Spellseeker's tutor range, but triple its size. Not sure how it'll work out in the end.

Play Micromancer, tutor for Ephemerate.
Blink Micromancer, tutor for Prismatic Ending or Traverse the Ulvenwald or Unholy Heat or March of Otherworldly Light or Flusterstorm (post-board) or something.
Blink Micromancer again, tutor for Ephemerate again if you still have another copy in your library.
Blink Micromancer 2 more times, tutor for more fun 1-cmc instants/sorceries. Traverse the Ulvenwald is particularly good.
Dunno if 4c Yorion really wants more than one Micromancer, though.
