I LOVE how the card is worded in a way to prevent people to "strategical scoop" for spite in the moment you attack them, it does still trigger and you would still win the game.
Does this ever matter in a 2 player game. I feel like if the opponent looses, you win?

I was obviously talking about multiplayer games, since this is a commander from a commander deck -which, guess what it's a multiplayer format- and his effect only make sense inside a multiplayer context.
Why people need to be contrarian just for the sake of it?

Honestly sorry. I didn't mean to come off as contrarian. Yes, obviously you were talking about multiplayer but it's a card that can be played in 1v1. This was just the first opportunity I had seen to ask anyone.
i just want to say, in terms of being fun to play with, or even having much counterplay, expectation of what is going to happen, or ability to interact, this card was EXTREMELY poorly thought out

I mean, it seems just a sterile observation to me. Its like to say that Hydra Omnivore ability doesn't do nothing in 1vs1...well yeah, thats exactly the whole point of multiplayer only abilities. The card self-explains itself so hard that it's ability obviously works only in multiplayer that I can't even imagine how would you even need to do the effort to ask anything. If you just used the logic and use the brain for a second you would just answered yourself, since it's liteally impossible that there's any ambiguity that this card can ever do something weird that wasn't intended in 1vs1.
Then of course this card can be played in 1vs1. That's true for ALL magic cards in existence, even the ones that do absolytely NOTHING in 1vs1 (like Blade of Selves or Aeon Engine ), so saying that this card can be played in 1vs1 it's like saying that the water is wet, another sterile and pointless observation (and unlike a Blade of Selves, this card at least do other stuff even if his last ability doesn't work in 1vs1).

100% fair. I think I'd missed that it was in the supplementary products when I first saw it and was expecting it in DMU. But, in any case I done effed up. All the best to you.
I know cEDH discourse is going bonkers about this, but it's a 4-mana do nothing that requires a narrow interaction to go off.
So they just ThOracle or Krark or w/e before the attack goes off, all's hunky-dory.

Meanwhile in my casual pod, I'll be assembling a board of Changelings and alpha-striking the player with no board state and winning before my creature based deck gets board wiped.

Ramses Overdark is the next new box topper, leaning more into his role as the Imperial Assassin of Madara under Nicol Bolas.
That means Tetsuo is coming too.
Let this great clan rest in peace (2001-2011)
