Playing since 1994: Currently MAGS (HomeBrew),Standard & Pauper (Pioneer and Modern are degenerate trash formats)
STOP using "dude/bro" as a pejorative or insult. Grow up.
Margaret Thatcher: “The problem with socialism is that you eventually run out of other people's money.”
Benjamin Franklin: "Those who would give up essential Liberty, to purchase a little temporary Safety, deserve neither Liberty nor Safety."
Martin Luther King Jr.: "I have a dream that my four little children will one day live in a nation where they will not be judged by the color of their skin, but by the content of their character."
Wow, an actual reprint and it's not even in a $40 product or $16 booster, have they gone mad? With that said I wonder how much of a mistake putting this in Standard will be, much like Ugin a few years ago.

If the new Standard looks anything like the one right now, Lili will actually be a very healthy addition to the format.
Lili of the Veil isn't that busted on a vacuum, her real strength is either graveyard interactions and/or boosting low curve decks's matchup against mid-to-high curve decks, since low curves can empty their hand and start ticking up for free value and withering away powerful three+ drops with Edicts. Anyone playing in Standard right now can attest that the format is pretty much all three+ drops that are a nightmare to deal with because they generate free value instantly, so Lili being able to give decks focused on one- and two- drops a powerful tool to combat these threats would actually be a huge plus for the format's diversity.
Now to find out if this will warp pioneer or not (this was/is considered the most played planeswalker in modern)
Yep. She will be a pain in Standard but I am guessing she will be near warping in Pioneer.

As predicted, Liliana of the Veil has returned to Standard. Wonder how they'd explain this in the lore. Pioneer players, how would she fare?

as far as the lore, she has had the Chain Veil the whole time, it's the one version (aside from Vess) that they don't need any more in the story
hopefully the rest of the set isn't weak and bad to make up for it.

Elspeth and Jhoira rock my world.
With that being said, I bet Liliana's reputation precedes her hard (except maybe in Arcavios).

I love this art. Both versions have such amazing art
Lillana's story has been so interesting to me.
|| UW Jace, Vyn's Prodigy UW || UG Kenessos, Priest of Thassa (feat. Arixmethes) UG ||
Cards I still want to see created:
|| Olantin, Lost City || Pavios and Thanasis || Choryu ||
I wonder what implications this has for Pioneer.
Will most people stop playing Liliana the last hope in favor of this, or use both?
I used to be a demigod, but now I'm an omnimage
Grab her up fast, if she’s popular in Standard her price may actually be above where it was before.
Original printings are usually the most valuable.
