Bring it on. I'm ready for it. Wish it would have been coming out now instead of pushed back by 2XM.
I'm curious what that falling star (object) is in that image above. It must portend or signify something. I am getting a real Aminatou vibe off that artwork. Unfortunately I don't care a bit about that character so I hope I'm wrong.

Benjamin Franklin: "Those who would give up essential Liberty, to purchase a little temporary Safety, deserve neither Liberty nor Safety."
Martin Luther King Jr.: "I have a dream that my four little children will one day live in a nation where they will not be judged by the color of their skin, but by the content of their character."
I would expect a new karn, and possibly new weatherlight crew cards.

What do I expect? Well, I like to huff conspiracy theories in reddit comment sections so I guess that I anticipate:
A new Jodah legend.
A new Squee legend.
A new Radha legend.
A new Teferi Planeswalker.
A new Karn Planeswalker.
A new Ajani Planeswalker.
A new Liliana Planeswalker.
The Weatherlight
At least some members of the weatherlight crew.
Painlands
A rare or mythic utility land representing Zhalfir that lets you pay mana and tap it to phase out a creature you control (perhaps with limitations or difficult conditions to phase back in).
A card with "lotus" or "mox" in its name
At least one card that calls back to historically powerful cards from magic history (Think wizard's lightning or llanowar elves from Dominaria)
Phyrexians
Surprise Elesh Norn
A surprise Compleated Walker
A sizeable handful of legendary creatures from Dominaria (such as Grunn or Danitha Capesahn) being compleated.
An artifact-friendly mechanic or draft archetype to signal future directions in Brother's war (which seems quite likely to use Historic).
A colorless mythic artifact representing a temporal portal (completing the same "story linkage role" as fateful absence did in midnight hunt).
I'm expecting... land cycle (please give us pain lands), a planeswalker, and all the promos of the set. Maybe we'll get to see a new mechanic. We get a few days of discussion, then preview season goes dark until last August.

Okay, yeah. You win.
My predictions were for the set as a whole but I think that you nailed it as far as tomorrow’s announcement.

I would bet on them waiting until the brother's war (on the guess that its a callback to the urza's saga set) for a balanced land cycle as a callback to the tolarian academy cycle but not necessarily a 'counting items' theme.

Why would it be a callback to Urza's Saga? It's about the story of Antiquities.
I wonder if the Shocklands are in Dominaria United.
Shocklands are a Ravnica thing, which we've had many time at this point. It's more likely we will see a return of the painlands which haven't been printed in far too long. Or perhaps some new cycle of dual lands will come about? I'd like to see them explore more dual land ideas where they have basic land types like the shocklands and triomes.
Yes Shocklands are plane specific to Ravnica. We aren't going to see them again unless Ravnica or another Core Set comes around.
As mentioned above the Painland cycle IS specific to Dominaria and very well may be in the set. Not as sexy as Shocklands but much needed for Standard.

Guessing a return to Legendary lands, such as Tolaria and Hammerheim, but with updated, relevant abilities.
Maybe some new legends that have mentioned in either flavor text and/or novels. Maybe close relatives of old, killed off legends. I'm pushing an emphasis of legends because there's a legend in each pack, just this time I think it'll include lands, artifacts/equipment, enchantments, PW's, and a return of Legendary instants/sorceries. Might even push the envelope and have Legendary auras.
(don't ask why I've capitalized "legend"/"legendary" so much... I'm tired, it's late & I'm too lazy to go back and change my known possible mistake)

100% agree and wouldn't be surprised if they brought the good ol' painlands back. Pioneer has acess to the enemy-colored half only, and once the Pathways leave Standard would be left without any CIPU dual cycle, which is really bad for aggro/tempo decks, so this would be the ideal moment to reprint the allied painlands so the whole cycle becomes Pioneer-legal, also I couldn't be happier if they did since I have the full sets for Esper/Grixis decks in mostly old borders, my Ice Age Underground River needs to see the light of day again.

Dead on assessment of Painlands. Finishes the cycle for Pioneer and assists Standard. Not very valuable money wise but VERY valuable play wise for Standard and Pioneer. Top notch assessment.

You know what I got a idea about the pain lands if we get them
dominaria United and brothers war separates them
one reprints the ally lands the other reprints the enemy ones.
I'd prefer they do them all at the same time but if they do indeed roll them out as you predict I hope the Allied painlands come out first in DomUnited followed by the Enemy ones in Brothers War. Makes more sense thematically that way as well.

i Better see retro frames used in thr set.
We're also getting some unfinity spoilers this weekend too according to Maro. Fun times.

I'm hoping or retro borders too.
I also expect us to see a Lotus and/or Mox-type card of some sort in this set.

Every time Wotc taps my wallet, I feel pain!
I used to be a demigod, but now I'm an omnimage
the rumor i found was true Hidden treasures are coming back (only difference is its only legends set cards)
Yeah, that'll be... fun I guess. :/
It also seems we are getting new versions of the Old Legends. That's pretty cool!
