The wolf began its approach when suddenly, a wind whispered between the leaves. It blew so strongly that the deer ran off.
(very rough translation, could someone check?)
"Realms are born and scatter like autumn leaves, but the World Tree will endure forever."

The Secret Lair knocked Concordant Crossroads's price s down to $40. How much further would it go now?
(If you bought the Secret Lair for reasons other than the art, I'm so sorry.)
Now this is one of the bigger surprises. I really thought we were done with any big ticket cards.
I know I reveal my ignorance when I say this, but I wonder why they stopped world enchantments. It likely has no place now with the current rendition of the legend rules, but I think they should still be around.
I'm very pleased and very surprised to see this, I really hope people see them reprinting a bunch of cards that JUST carried terrible Sexret Lairs and stop buying the stupid things.

I wonder if they'll just issue errata to make them Legendary, as that would simplify them.
Do they need any more simplifying? They're just super legendaries where only one can be out at one time and the newest one gets rid of the oldest one.
The only issue I see with Enchant World is that people forget that Concordant Crossroads kills The Abyss sometimes, and vice versa. They're not immediately noticable as different from other global enchantments for most games.
World is a fine thing to use. But it should always come with reminder text. They're not gonna have world permanents every set like legendary permanents, so a bit of reminder text keeps us from forgetting it's a rule.

Now THIS is something that needed a reprint, unlike Mana Drain, Crucible, etc.
Or they all did.
There are other cards that needed a reprint MUCH more than those.
They need to let those cards recover some value so they’re actually usable in future reprint sets without being eyerollers.
I swear, it’s like most of y’all have no interest in the long-term health of this game.
They should focus on getting everything (non RL) below $200 before they crater previously $200 cards down to $20.

Crucible of Worlds needs as many printings as it can get. It's a practical card that everyone has practical use for. I say print it every chance you get. Mana Drain is a different story, but if it goes down to 20, I see little harm done. It's a card with low demand. But we don't know what a non-hype price on that card would even be. In a vacuum it seems like an $8 card to me. Powerful and useful, but illegal in most formats. Would it be unhealthy for the longterm of the game for it to be that? Imperial Recruiter is telling about that story value-wise, but I think it's a wonderful thing. I gladly bought an Imperial Recruiter at around $8, and I would not have paid more for it. It enriches my life for that card to have been cheaper.
Yes, you want there to be chase cards in the world, but there is no danger of that disappearing ever.

Oh you're that person again.
Yes, you can argue there are cards that need reprints more, but what does that have to do with these also needing another reprint? So what if cards are only worth $20? What would be so bad about that? I get you're trying to turn this child's game into a retirement opportunity, but perhaps you shouldn't and realize this odd fear of $20 cards is strange.

Are first ever world enchantment reprint in a draft set.

Apparently, all but 4 enchant worlds are on the reserved list.
Arboria - Seems to prisonlike and complicated to reprint
Land's Edge - replaced by seismic assault
Revelation - outclassed by telepathy

changing World Enchantments to Legendary completely changes how they function.
And Revelation is not outclassed by Telepathy because you’re changing the color.

your sort of wrong because telepathy you hand stays hidden when revelation yours gets revealed (still a hidden gem though)

Last time we officially had them was in Visions (Teferi's Realm/Elkin Lair/Pillar Tombs of Aku/Eye of Singularity...funny that green didn't get one), but I think there was a reason I just can't remember what it was. Complexity maybe?
Still nice to see back.
