I vaguely remember Atarka's Command seeing niche play in either Pioneer or Modern.
But is not having to target the opponent(s) better than requiring green to cast and not being able to also target planeswalkers (this card has since been errataed)?
I mean, theyre not exciting but at least theyre decently playable in a wide range of formats. I may not like the command eating a rare slot but there are far worse options already in this set. Still, for the cost of entry its disappointing.
Rhyperior's image posts continue to be broken for me on the page, but if I right click and open image in new tab, I get the images fine. Does anyone know how I can fix this problem?
(You might get K Command as well? Sometimes they like to throw the whole cycle in. Some of the members of the cycles kind of drag the whole set down, but that's kind of their favorite thing to do. All those Kamigawa dragons in masters sets man)

Pumping your creatures can be nice, gotta max out the face damage sometimes.
My guess is the whole cycle's in, but we will see.
So I've been so busy being annoyed by everything else to do with this product. But also the card frame for Atarka's Command is terrible. Just terrible design. Every card in that frame looks terrible. That's the etched foil frame? They should retire it.

The commands should be uncommon, they would be awesome there. It's not like they are better than the uncommon ones
But then they couldn't be wasting a rare slot in a premium set.

Modern Burn has slimmed down its colours to Boros for a while now. Atarka's Command used to be hotter in Modern Burn, though.
