Oh please, you are all acting so much worried and this card will go burden in everybody binder which is exactly the same fate that Blade of Selves faced also (because it turn out, guess what, that players actually realize that cards that do literally nothing when against a single opponent are the first ones to not make the cut in a decent EDH deck)
Blade of Selves, the $30 card in nearly 9,000 decks on EDHREC? Such a burden in every binder...
Honestly, this card won't see as much play as that. I like Myriad. But they overcosted this one.

With how much players you play every day? I play every day on cockatrice with dozens of EDH players all around the world with all sort of power levels and metagames for over a decade. Never seen a single Blade in one of this games since the day Blade was printed (and not to mention LGS and kitchen table groups). Regardless of what EDHrec says, it's still true that this card does nothing when you're against 1 player and no good EDH player gonna run a 8 mana card that could even not work in late game or not work at all (so, if anything, EDHrec just proves that many EDH players just runs and makes financial speculations over a bad designed card).
EDIT: also, even using your parameter, for the website itself admission (and that you purposely omitted to say), all the decks you listed are still just the 1% of decks of that website (not even of all the world, just of that website data), which is not impressive like, at all, and fully explains why I don't even see normally that card in my games lol
And if Blade was already at a ridicolous 1%, this will be for sure at like the 0,00something%

Lol, what are you talking about? He's given you actual statistics proving that blade of selves is played by thousands of people. Your personal experience with 'dozens' of games without seeing the card is irrelevant.
Regardless, the 2 aren't really comparable as BoS costs 2 mana, this costs 8.
Your personal experiences do not trump actual statistics? Nor does it equate to the card being bad because it's not in enough decks to fit your arbitrary qualifications.

I did an edit after that which is super relevant and explains also that numbers are nothing without their context and when compared to actual staples played and seen in game (in fact, as I said, he omited to say that his "data" is still an irrelevant percentage of 1% , which is really low and basically even confirm my experience)

The pot calling the kettle black. You are functionally illiterate and still think to explain to me how to interpret things. Seems it wasn't enough losing your last ounce of credibility when on the other thread you didn't even understand that my opinions about UB were just the same of MaRo opinions all time along and refused to aknowledge that.
I mean the card isn't bad. You can get multiple etbs, leave or die trigger with it. It has the potential to end the game when used in the right moment (basically when you have a board and can finish only one opponent a round). It will come as a surprise I guess. Sure it does nothing if your 1 vs 1 but otherwise it does a lot. Still is hard to argument why this should be more expensive than lets say True Conviction. Maybe giving Myriad just for creature with mana vlaue 3 or lower and let it be a 5 mana enchantment would have been nice for small go wide strats. Powerwise the card is fine. The costs are a little hight. I think 6 would have been nice.

But their data is most trustworthy than yours. EDHREC aggregates from multiple deckbuilding sites, and there is a specific numbers breakdown on every card and commander. I have no way to trust data gathered by just one person, especially since I don't know where it came from. EDHREC is a collection from the part of the community that would upload their decklists online, and it's easy to point that out. Your is "just trust me bro."
As to Blade of Selves, I've seen it in aggro decks trying to take out multiple players at one, and a lot of combo strategies who want to abuse any ETB/LTB/attack triggers. While it is usually outclassed by Helm of the Host the higher you go up in power level, it doesn't erase its existence and impact elsewhere.
On the one hand, I really like Myriad as a fun mechanic and have a couple of decks that this would theoretically slot into. On the other hand, that mana cost is more than a little prohibitive.
Hilariously, it also shuts off attacking with your Commander unless you're looking to sacrifice it.

Mirror Box could solve that problem for you. I'd be happy with multiple Elesh Norns.

Maybe I didn't make clear enough the point that for the website itself admission (and that confirm why I don't usually even find this Blade played because it has pretty much the same percentage to appearing of a wild Chansey in a Pokemon game), Blade doesn't find place in more than 1% of decks of that website (that are not the totality of edh decks all around the world anyway). Now compare that percentage against equipments actually used in the format, because of their universal utility regardless of how many players are in the game (like Lighting Greaves at 27%) and you will find out that saying that Blade find home in "almost 9000" decks doesnt mean much in his context and, more importantly, doesn't tell us the effective raw power level in a vacuum (If we should follow the logic that "more decks equation of more powerful" then that would means that Watery Grave is strictly better than Underground Sea just because according to the same EDHrec the first dual see places in 50% of decks while the latter in only the 14%, but we know that this can't be true.)
Reality is complex and there's many more factors to consider. This is one of those cases. Bad cards will always be played by some people, but that doesn't make them good per se
Not the best card, but it can be a big finisher. Really like the art with "all for one" vibes on the alt-art card (can we even call it "alt-art" anymore when almost every card has different versions from the start? lol)

Exactly one person commented on the power of this card prior to your comment. Who exactly are the “you all”?

I was also referring to anybody commenting the "strong, amazing, astonishing" effect (not only here but what I've read on Reddit and on the Internet in general) on a card that not only how everybody notice has a low power level (everybody agree 8 mana is too much to be playable, and already doesn't do nothing alone at empty board state), but that it's even flawed in design, because Myriad it's a flawed mechanic (cards should make additional token even in 1vs1, which would obviously imply to change the current costs or effects or even color restrictions of myriad cards to make it balanced). Myriad stapled on a creature or with additional effects at least mitigate the bad design, but having the same problem of Blade of Sleeves just doesnt make it reliable enough (at least for my experience)

LOL, nice back-pedaling. So your response HERE is addressed to the people of Redddit and the internet as a whole. Gotcha.

I would say CocoaPuffs, but it's the wrong color. So maybe run it in Yosei, the Morning Star to be mean? I guess if you pay the mana cost, you deserve to win.

which reminds me has it been crunched out as a reprint for this? Since myriad is a mechanic,
Well they seem to value myriad quite high this time. Duke Ulder Ravengard is 6 mana, too and does basically the same but just for 1 creature and with haste. They are really careful with myriad, too. I think all cards with this effect in the set until now were rares or mythics. I am not sure if we will see some as uncommon like the cycle in commnader 2015 Caller of the Pack, Banshee of the Dread Choir, Herald of the Host and so on.
I feel like this enchantment could have added something on top with that mana cost. Maybe allowing to have the same legendary as tokens or maybe somehow come around the weakness of myriad in 1 vs 1 situations.

It does no such thing. The legendary rule hasn’t worked that way since a rule change 5+ years ago.
