First on this big announcement day, the Warhammer 40,000 collaboration. We'll have four precons and three Secret Lair Drops (Secret Lair x Warhammer 40,000: Orks, Secret Lair x Warhammer Age of Sigmar, and Secret Lair x Blood Bowl.)
Our first previews include two cards from the Chaos precon, a card from the Imperium precon with a new keyword, and the release promo reprint.
Next up, Double Masters 2022. Here's a release promo pair, an Eldrazi titan and the two planeswalkers of the set that will get a borderless frame treatment. Each rare and myhtic from the set will be getting a textured etched foil treatment, similar in feel to the New Capenna gilded foil. See here for what that looks like.
We have zero cards for Dominaria United, just the product lineup. This includes the new set-linked Jumpstart boosters. Moving forward, each Standard-legal set will be throwing a couple of boosters into the Jumpstart pool to mix and match with. Story-wise, Dominaria United will be the beginning a multi-planar story arc. Once again, the fate of Dominaria lies in the balance.
Finally, other promos. This year's Love Your LGS promo is this old-border Sol Ring.
With the return of the Store Championships come the Store Championship promos. You'll get Flame Slash for joining, Archmage's Charm for making it to the Top 8, and a textless Dark Confidant for winning.

Hurray. The Dominaria United symbol doesn't look like an angry aven face staring straight at you. It looks like a bird with a helmet on. (I know it's a combo of the coalition symbol and the Benalish shield but whatever I see things the way I do). By the key art we can probably gather that Lilly, Ajani, Jodah and Shanna will be in the set in some form. Kinda excited to see where this goes.

I don't care what anyone says Dominaria is Magic's home plane and always will be.

BIG EDIT AGAIN: So Dominaria United is the beginning of another multi-plane arc? What happened to the arc that's going on now? OR is this REALLY the beginning of it? Is this Weatherlight Saga II?
first Off I notice most of you don't notice this the set symbol is Basicly a reboot of the invasion block symbol (also can be seen on Coalition Relic and Coalition Flag and this set was just when a stampede (hundreds) of phyrexians raided dominaria)
Second I Have one theory why liliana is here this might be a golden opportunity for her redemption arc of stopping the phyrexians
third I’m pretty sure braids in the art is compleated she has multiple arms and her chest is not only glowing it might be see threw and who likely could have done it most likely Sheoldred, Whispering One or a different thane. (Edit: people are pointing out it might actually be something know as appearing out from Dementia so she might be a horror rather than phyrexian)
Now the other stuff
so We’re getting the 1.0 eldrazi’s again in double masters 2022
so jumpstart packs is joining the party with draft/set/collector boosters and I’m fairly certain we will still get big sets of jumpstart (I’m sure the sequel in Q4 is still on)
And of coarse I don’t care how mad you guys get at me but I’m gonna look into the Temur deck from the 40K decks and I’m still wagering we will get in-verse versions of the decks

That's what I said in my post: a mix of the coalition symbol and perhaps the Benalish shield they used in Dominaria. But I still say it looks like an aven wearing a helmet this time.
Edit: I loved OG Jumpstart and the Historic one on Arena so I hope that we get a cool swath of different themes, hopefully multicolour this time.

anyways the important parts for me where what Warhammer factions get a deck, Dominaria United Jumpstart, Alchemy Horizons getting 250+ cards with New Legends, New Powerful Spells, and New Mechanics (and the sweet AH:BG art), and that DU is the start of a new multiset story arc. My guess Phyrexian War in earnest.
The reprints make the cards cheaper, which directly makes this product "cheaper" in terms of value, but at the same time, its more expensive then ever due to price increases and WotC milking players.
Its so much product in such a short time, its just too much for people for quite a lot of people.
That does not mean some cards are enjoyable, they sure are, the entire issue is simply the massive product fatigue and enjoying it all, already starts to cost you so much, it becomes problematic for cost reasons alone (its like WotC is hell bent to find the breaking point of the community, when the moment kicks in that people simply rage quit from a addiction, surely has to be at some point).
I resort to singles, i wont touch any of these products, except the very few cards that i can clearly budget.

(She probably found braids body underground which is where she was seen last and resurrected her as a phyrexian)
While it does seem possible that Sheoldred still lives on after Elesh Norn’s attack on her domain, I’d be equally thrilled with the possibility that Sheoldred is dead and Elesh Norn is the one responsible for Braids’s compleation. Mainly because given Braids’s lust for fame and power I could see Braids becoming a new mono black praetor.
Double Masters: the absolute best set to not buy sealed. Knock down some prices please! Weathered Wayfarer isn't a bad start. It's expensive due only to scarcity. Kozilek on the other hand will always be expensive even if they give everyone a copy.
So there's new art for Aminatou which looks like planeswalker art, but she wouldn't fit in the crunch between Liliana and W&6. Would they put new cards into a masters set?,..or have we been jebaited before with unique packaging art without any representation in the set? I can't recall anything, but I could be wrong. She's also on the draft box with Liliana.
I suppose she could be mono-esper color, but it would have to be a new iteration. Did they confirm somewhere there are only two planeswalkers?

Hey look, they did something right! They gave Annihilator reminder text on every version. This whole thing where the alt-frame versions don't have reminder text is starting to become a problem now that we have butt loads of alt-frame cards all the time everywhere.
Still no reminder text for retrace on Wrenn and Six though. No room I know, but it's a seldom-seen keyword on an often-used card.
Only thing here I'm even remotely looking forward to is Dominaria, if it's anything like the last time we were there then it will be great.
As for the others, I don't care for $16 packs, and I don't play Warhammer and won't buy the decks unless there is some absurd reprints in it. I don't get the need to put this IP into Magic, if I wanted to play Warhammer I'd go buy $400 in paint.
As somebody who started out with Warhammer 40k back in '94, I'm curious to see what they do with the cards, but it absolutely a million billions times doesn't look like magic cards to me. It looks like they're from a different card game. The art on the Blood for the blood god card does look pretty brutal though.
The Dungeons and Dragons sets and the upcoming Lord of the Rings set at least fit in terms of it being fantasy and sword & sorcery. It looks like it fits next to other magic cards. This just looks ridiculous... They should have picked Warhammer Fantasy for this... even Age of Sigmar looks too urgh....
Double masters is out of my budget for cards... I pretty much only buy singles 99% of the time anyway.
The art shown from Dominaria United looks really cool. I'm excited to see that set when it comes around.

It could be it's just the key art for boxes and boosters. They usually have different art for that compared to what's on the cards. They mentioned on the stream too that the only planeswalkers getting the borderless treatment were Lilliana and Wrenn & Six, but there would be more planeswalkers in the set. I like the original art for her. It's really eery.
