The first precon to be revealed is the UBR Maestros precon. Joining Anhelo, the Painter on-stage is his new daughter-in-law and the first legendary Phoenix in the game (and yes, it's worded to work way better in Phoenix tribal). Decklist is here (finally).
I'm 95% sure Determined Iteration is a leftover card from Strixhaven. The name, the art, even the effect (kind of) fit that set so much better than Capenna.
A little unhappy I have to get R/B duals for the deck in foil, but it's worth it to finally have a legendary Phoenix. The fact that it is somewhat playable is just icing on the cake.
Just to get this out of the way. To my understanding, you can NOT use Flawless Forgery to copy the same spell twice using Casualty. The copy of FF goes on the stack above the original FF, resolves first, allows you to copy a spell, but that spell is removed. By the time the original FF resolves, it will be exiled and cannot be targeted anymore.
Sinister Concierge, while mechanically clearly different, looks like a horror trope to me and more in line with Innistrad. But that's what we have Commander Decks for.
theres some fun new cards, but don't kid yourselves, this is not worth the price. its the now tired and lackluster mediocre reprints we've come to expect, but for more money.
your value reprints weren't, and will be even less so in a few weeks, and even the new stuff won't be worth all that much this time next month.
as for the new cards themselves i really like determined iteration, but who doesn't, its powerful and we all know it. i also like extravagant replication despite it being way too damn slow to be effective. i just want to copy doubling season with it every turn.

First off, the black cards for the black-centered deck.
Next, blue and (most of) red.
(Heads up on the reprints, this is a spellslinger precon. Don't expect anything big.)
Audacious Swap is more of a Polymorph than it is a Chaos Warp.
And the rest of the new cards (that you already saw a few days ago).
Well at leat it has some value: Cascade Bluffs, Rite of the Raging Storm (Had no idea this card is $5), Mystic Confluence, and Lightninh Greaves.
but here’s the kicker everybody needs to remmeber you got Rakdos so you can use cards like these guys
And probably THEE most important to add from all of this Syr Konrad, the Grim with those Phoenix resurrecting
I might be tempted to build this one but I should wait for the hype spike to go away first
Looks like the pile separation effect (Do Or Die) is the effect that fits in with Invasion as per the teaser.
The artwork thouuugghhhh. LOVE That phoenix too.
