Yet another damage-based sweeper, and yet there's only like one burn spell in the whole set so far that actually hits players.
I still don't really get why WotC has made the "any target" burn spells so rare...
I mean, being able to hit face was the upside of red removal.
a 2 mana instant that deals 1 billion damage to target creature is mostly just a worse Doom Blade barring weird damage redirect combos.

I was thinking the same thing. This is getting weird.
I could see this being a player in commander, though. On many board states it could read "destroy all artifacts and creatures" and sometimes even better depending on what you have out. It has synergy with sacrificing treasures too, although it won't help you size the damage down if you're trying to avoid killing your one biggest creature.

Two levels of sweepers, one dependent on another. Better spend up all those Treasure tokens and sac those other artifacts now.

Eh, no more evil than any other Shatterstorm variant when paired with the Lattice.
