Tenacious Underling 1B
Creature - Human Warrior (Rare)
Blitz—2BB, Pay 2 life.
You can cast Tenacious Underling from your graveyard by using its blitz ability.
3/2
Our usual self-reanimator has no restrictions unlike the past couple ones, he just costs double and some life. The extra card should offset that.
That's actually a pretty nice little bit of value wrapped up in one card. Starts as a 3/2 for 2, then if you have the mana and life available, becomes a repeated source of pressure and card draw over time.
So now you can just make a 3/2 for 2 with upside in black? Why do they always push things by pushing the stats? Quit yer damn creature creep, ya bastards. I can accept it in green, but in black?? I'm disappointed in you, wizards.

4 mana and 2 life to draw a card and attack with a 3/2
and that's after your regular 3/2 was removed somehow....
and you can keep repeating it for incremental card advantage.
this thing also fits quite nicely with sacrifice strats and so on.
could be constructed playable by power level alone, let's see how the meta pans out.
Wight being the probably the worst of these; but in Standard Marshal did a ton of work for me.
Well at least Wight has a token drawback. The others are BB. Voidwalker is way overpushed for my liking though.
Yeah, Voidwalker is word soup. I just meant it doesn't surprise me anymore. At least this still has the can't block clause, even though it's obfuscated by the Blitz ability. He can only block when cast.
I think the blitz cost could have been reduced to 3 mana if you have the creature sacrifice itself at end of turn, like Ichorid. Black doesn't get cool things anymore like Ichorid. (I don't count special sets like modern horizons) The 2 life is a real cost even if you get to draw a card. I always liked cards like nether shadow. This would have been a neat synergy with Ayara, First of Locthwain if they were in standard together.
Reanimate, gain 1 life, attack, sacrifice and draw 2 cards.

Artist Zara Alfonso pays homage to her mentor, fellow Magic artist Winona Nelson, and her work on Enthralling Victor and Captivating Crew by drawing the daydreaming fan in the corner.
And he's getting the art deco and etched foil treatment.
The flavor of this card reminds me of the days i spent in my youth renting a room from Anatole , doing runs of Fallout[i]2[\i] practicing getting a leather-jacketed male hero straight from the Vault to the boxing ring at New Reno .
Limited dialogue options and all .

I do enjoy the fangirl in the background.

It's been that way for a few years now:

Is it just me or does the post above contain the same card twice?
They fail that on foils as well, but the etched have a different collectors number too.
