I'm surprised no one's complained about the once a turn thing yet. Yes, even these kinds of effects get complaints because of the once a turn clause.
I do like how the art calls back to those iconic photos of workers eating lunch high above the skyline, The showcase frame tries to copy that but it's not as successful.

well for me it’s easy to understand why once a turn was used here
Would they really allow something that brings back a creature with lessor cmc from the grave………to the battlefield constantly
fun fact that iconic photo…I hear is fake it was just to promote something
Yeah if it wasn't once per turn it would be way too strong. As it is this definitely feel standard playable. Maybe pioneer. Works so well with the Blitz mechanic.
Only one question I got on this: Since it says "you may", if you choose not to return a creature on the first sacrifice a turn, but later sacrifice a creature with higher mana value, can you do it on the second one? If so, that's actually pretty useful. If you can't, I don't like this card at all.

Yes, you can do that just fine. If you couldn't, the wording would be something to the effect of "The first time you sacrifice one or more creatures each turn..." or "This ability triggers once per turn." Instead, this card spells out that you only are limited on actually performing the action, not triggering the ability.
OMG, I am in love with the (normal) artwork. That is just too awesome.
You and I are related somehow I swear. The showcase is the one that makes me heart flutter more, but I like this one. Just like those oldschool cartoons taking place high up on skyscrapers under construction.

This is actually specifically based on a photo that got real famous, which inspired those cartoons

Should really not have the "Once per turn" , then it would be an amazing card for decks that have lots of sacrifice to chain into some stuff.
Works decent with Evoke and other mechanics thats put large stuff into play for free, but the once per turn just severely limits what its allowed to do.

So... Not to put too fine of a point on it but it seems that the exact type of cards that you are looking to get (cards that let you "go off" and cascade into tons of interactions and long turns of seeing if you are able ot win) are EXACTLY the sort of cards that Wizards is deliberately trying NOT to make.
You are welcome to request what you like, of course, but this kind of complaint has always struck me like "Dinner would be so much better if my parents allowed me to replace the greens on my plate with a never-ending supply of cookies"
Yes, you'd enjoy the never ending sweetness a lot more. Nobody is questioning that. The authority figure is deliberately trying to stop that, especially after all of the times they allowedyoutogorgeyourselfandsawwhathappened. While vast combo/synergy cards have certainly existed in the past, they can ignore the "you might as well keep going" argument and instead respond with an equally reasonable "never again!" I'd honestly rather have some people lose their reason to invest in newer cards than have a never-ending slew of ever-more-efficient combo engines.

It's just a 3 mana card. It can't generate the value you are asking for.

How i feel about competitive players and casual players in EDH: The competitive are german tourists, the casual are italian tourists, both in a italian beach. The italians asking themselves "why are the germans here?" make a legitimate question, the answer is because the beach is beautiful, no matter the country you came from. The italians wanting to ban the germans are dumb, because if the germans pay for their stay and follow the rules like everyone else, they have the right to be in the beach. Hovewer, if the germans started to ask themselves "why are the italians here?"... they would be dumb as hell.
The flavor is neat too .
How tall are those skyscrapers if you can fall off and then get an alley-oop from one of your friends like , three turns later ?

Here’s the last one it’s a once per turn but it was necessary to prevent this from being busted
(It dies it brings something lesser cmc back into play tapped)
That's a nice sacrifice reward. The once per turn clause hurts it though. But I guess why.

Elspeth and Jhoira rock my world.
You can still do it on other people's turns though, making instant speed sacrifice abilities and spells pretty neat!
kinda remembers me of Orah, Skyclave Hierophant albeit probably not as good.

that’s right
and funny enough it’s not a real photo it’s just to promote a place
Yeah I don't think there's any working dude even in pre-osha days who wouldn't get down to settled ground for lunch.
