So… dockside shenanigans aside, there is something fairly rare about this card.
A lot of burn spells say “target creature or planeswalkers” or “target player or planeswalker” but wizards doesn’t do burn effects that hit players or creatures anymore because it would cause confusion with all of the older effects errata’d to “any target”.
This is one of the rare burn effects that hits a target player and hits a target creature but can’t hit planeswalkers.
Reminds me a little of Shrine of Burning Rage (when are they getting the shrine type WotC? kidding), but this is much easier to build up when you can plop multiple artifacts out per turn thanks to things like Dockside Extortionist, Myr Battlesphere, Pentavus, and others.
If you're scared enough by the avalanche of Limited-playable artifacts that would fuel this, don't think too much about Treasure tokens.
