Once again, reminder that Shrine is not a creature type, so this creature has no creature type.
Supposedly Neon Dynasty only has 1 Shrine cycle, so assuming no extraneous circumstances, this is generally just 1-2 damage every turn. Now if you're going against the Shrines drafter, that's a different issue.
These are significantly easier to interact with than the other shrines, especially in limited, so they won't be nearly as harsh in the "all shrines" archetype than prior cycles.
Unlike the white one we've seen so far, this one looks a lot more like a card you will happily draft and play in most any red deck. A 3 mana 2/2 first striker isn't the *worst*, and the fact that every turn it sits in play and you have an extra mana, you get to ping your opponent for one is pretty decent.
Obviously if you have more shrine support the card does get progressively sillier, but I think for limited, the base case is plenty reasonable on its own.
ok so we got upkeep shrines then main phase shrines one and now end step shrines if you pay 1
this one can just burn away opponents if to many shrines in play (remember I'm talking histroic/commander)

I know some of you are begging wizards to take a break from these but we could get a 6th card in the cycle. and that it’s being a WUBRG legend
Go-Shintao of Default Commanders?
Card number 220 is the slot where it would have to go if it's happening as long as they don't break the naming convention.
