I really like the white dragon, happy to see more things to add to my Kykar vehicles deck I'm building. Glad to see white getting collected company like effects and this seems more powerful with the additional card, higher mv pulling out at seven instead of six and being any perament instead of just creatures.

They clearly stole the blue dragon's name from Kingdom Hearts. This means the dragons' names are probably significant in Japanese, just like several, if not all, of the names in the OG Kamigawa blocks.

Kairi, Sora, and Riku just mean Sea, Sky, and Land, so Kairi is a perfect name for a major blue aligned nature spirit.
Please, mill me. Mill my important cards. Mill my lands. Mill it all. Because I will still deal 20 damage before you can mill 45 cards most every time.

Bless, you'd think "aqua," "terra," and "ventus" would have gotten it across haha.

For a funnier butchering of the Japanese land/sea/sky trio, there's the Kirby series's Rick, Kine, and Coo (or Rikku, Kain, and Kuu in romaji).
...Y'know, I always believed the Japanese for "sea" was just plain "kai" and never "kairi" or "kain" - thus me being pretty sensitive to the exact name the blue dragon got.
We have to see the Japanese localization. From looking at online dictionaries, whether it's blue or green depends on the presence of a second kanji next to the "Ao" kanji.

Related Namine can translate to "sounds of a wave" or "born from the waves" aka born of the ocean and Xion name has the word "tide" making up part of her name.

I don't believe that's the case. Ao is one of the four classical Japanese "colors," which are more like groupings of color than actual specifics (those colors being White, Black, Red, and Blue). The noun version has one character, and the adjective version has the same character and a second different character, but they both refer to the same color grouping. They did introduce a character for specifically green, Midori, but Ao is still used for a variety of both green and blue objects. Aozora, or Blue Sky, and Aoyama, or Green Mountain, both utilize the exact same Ao Kanji. (This is why traffic lights and Granny Smiths in Japan can be technically translated as Blue Lights, and Blue Apples. They both use the same Ao character.)
Hilariously enough, the adjective version of Ao can also be translated as an adjective meaning "Fresh," which means that calling someone green has similar connotations in English and Japanese.
They are all really pushed. The green one is the weakest statwise but leaves behind a 4/4 or 5/5 (or larger!) which is quite the double threat, and in commander the fact that it can get any three lands means it will be the best of the bunch for certain strategies.

IIRC from my Japanese studies, 'ao' is best translated (as a single color, at least) as either 'the color of the ocean' or 'not red, white, or black'. The real issue is that Japanese is so homophonic that it may not even be the color. It might be a completely different word.
I'm a bit annoyed, though, that they didn't use Akatsuki as the dragon's name, as that would be rather on-the-nose.
Gitaxias is far superior from the rest of the others Praetors. Especially in the contexts where mana cost its irrelevant, like reanimator decks.
Shame Jin-Gitaxias, Core Augur got overthrown by Griselbrand in reanimator decks, where Grissy draws you your 7 cards immediately and in response to removal and opposing game-winning plays, while Jin-Gitaxias can't draw you cards until your end step.
also the only god you really remember what does from Theros Beyond Death is Heliod, Sun-Crowned, you could argue it's not exactly a cycle, but still....

To be fair, it also means green.

now we know everything on kairi
mana value total of 6 or less
and its the biggest one its a 6/6
infact you can legitimately destroy every single token that's not a clone of something with kairi
oh and my ordre of best to worst theres legitimately no bad on in this cycle all 5 are great
White
Black
Red
Green
Blue
but all 5 are amazing
that might be relevant down the line.
The blue one essentially kills any number of target tokens as it dies... lol.

White
Red
Green
Blue
Black
is this the first time in history that white one got the best one in a cycle?
it cheats non lands from the library into play and you get +2/+2 counters buff for your whole board
