So based off that alone I think we can surmise that samurai are going to be in the set. Whether their Bushido mechanic will be is up for debate.

I can't really decide if they will. On one hand, it's very easy to implement and doesn't really require a lot of work. (They already used it!)
On the other hand it's almost TOO boring and risks not letting Samurai have any sort of sort of actual identity. Bushido feels like a mechanic for Slivers more than Samurai.
On the OTHER hand, I really don't know what they'll possibly replace it with those because they 100% painted themselves into a corner here. Bushido IS Samurai. Same way Ninjutsu IS Ninjas. It's unfortunate because Bushido really is a miserable (boring) mechanic that is also a bit of a headache to play with once you start playing with a high density of Bushido effects in the same deck. Combat slows down and it's a chore.
Already loving the half samurai art. Hard to say what the company would do alongside kamigawa. If someone from the other thread is correct that the upgrades deck will be tied to ability tokens these people could make something related to that? Looking forward to any and all news involving the set though.
It seems that quite a few MTG sets have D&D campaigns based on them lately, I believe the most recent one was Strixhaven, but this took me as a surprise to be honest. I'm not personally interested in this set in the least (I love Japanese and Chinese culture to death, but I'm not into sci-fi futuristic settings when it comes to Magic and D&D) but it's going to be interesting to see what the story is for this set.
Having purchased some of the Beadles and Grimms silver and platinum editions before, this is pretty exciting. They are the absolute top quality in tabletop gaming campaign packages. It makes me wonder if there will be any promos or special packs included with the platinum and silver editions of Kamigawa.
