The final precon to be previewed is the Vampire and Blood-themed Vampiric Bloodline deck. It also hosts a sacrifice and discard subtheme. Joining Strefan, Maurer Progenitor in the festivities is this Bat-themed reanimator and a sacrifice partner with pair. Decklist is here.
Imposing Grandeur is going to screw some people over. Got a 1 mana commander? Or your Commander is in the graveyard because you plan to reanimate it next turn (especially if the means are in your hand)? No hand for you!
I respect that Wizards is trying to make a “go tall” vampire tribal deck to minimize competition with Edgar, which is best built as a go-wide commander, and that this card is cannibalizing some of the discard synergies of Anje in a mad dash to have something, anything, that Edgar does not have.
It is not enough. If you take the best possible Strefan deck and gut out the worst cards to fit the best white support cards and Edgar, your deck will have a better win rate.

The effect is a "may", so it is not a forced wheel.
Patron of the Vein and Nirkana Revanent are both overpriced for what they do (I hear that people were speculating on Patron, raising the price in case it didn’t appear here) as they have never been reprint.
Also, there is no $5 uncommon spirit to parallel blood artist.
Ignoring those abnormalities, the decks aren’t too different in value.

How i feel about competitive players and casual players in EDH: The competitive are german tourists, the casual are italian tourists, both in a italian beach. The italians asking themselves "why are the germans here?" make a legitimate question, the answer is because the beach is beautiful, no matter the country you came from. The italians wanting to ban the germans are dumb, because if the germans pay for their stay and follow the rules like everyone else, they have the right to be in the beach. Hovewer, if the germans started to ask themselves "why are the italians here?"... they would be dumb as hell.

Aside from the face commander and Olivia's Wrath, there's nothing in this deck I want. Completely indifferent to Blood as a mechanic; chances are good we won't see it again except for the odd Blood themed card thrown in Premium sets.

If Edgar stops any new Vampire tribal commanders from being built moving forward because "why not just Edgar?", then he's the problem. I really don't like Edgar Markov for that reason: he invalidates every single Vampire tribal commander, even those that want to play Blue, because he's that good.

I am not disagreeing in any way. Edgar is terrible for what it did to Vampires (and we will be learning if Yuriko did the same to ninjas soon enough...)
Indeed. Anyone complaining about new Vampire commanders being invalidated by Edgar Markov can go right over there into the corner with the people that complain about card draw worse than Ancestral Recall. The game is not held hostage by the past. If you play an Eternal format, you set yourself up for that disappointment.
Commander is a game mode that can be experienced in many different ways and I think one of them is to have a rotation just for commanders. There you go. Thank me later.

Planar Chaos was not a mistake neither was it random. You might want to look at it again.
[thread=239793][Game] Level Up - Creature[/thread]
I think Arterial Alchemy is good by itself. 3 Equipment for 3 mana seems fair. The equipment are mediocre but when playing an equipment deck you have other effects that cares for them. Statwise there are Bloodforged Battle-Axe.
Would I run other blood token cards? I don't know... maybe not? Would this effect be on a legendary creature like let say Odric (not in addition but instead of what we got etb to create 3 blood tokens and to use them as equipment) than yeah why not.
White can search for the enchantment with maybe 2 or 3 efficient tutors? I still wouldn't built around it.
But now there is at least one blood token payoff for Boros Odric. Equipment cards tend to spread some keywords, too.

your waiting for demon tribal?
after kamigawa 2 we’re going to new capena that set is almost unquestionable for demon tribal since it’s 5 Mov family’s owned by demons.
That only helps me if kaldheim is still legal. Which I have no clue if that is true or not
Aren't you happy with dreadfeast demon?
Deck is a bust for me.
It needs non demons to work, so hardly useful in a tribal deck. Also I need demons with good etb effects.

Finally a good white villain quote: "So, do I ever re-evaluate my life choices? Never, because I know what I'm doing is a righteous cause."
Factions: Sleeping
Remnants: Valheim
Legendary Journey: Heroes & Planeswalkers
Saga: Shards of Rabiah
Legends: The Elder Dragons
Read up on Red Flags & NWO
Sigarda's Aid for instant equip
Puresteel Paladin for card draw
Akiri, Fearless Voyager card draw
Bruenor Battlehammer for additional umpf
Reckless Crew for more bodies and some effects to equip them for free... so there is basically already a deck for the card.
Would I run other blood token cards? I don't know... maybe not? Would this effect be on a legendary creature like let say Odric (not in addition but instead of what we got etb to create 3 blood tokens and to use them as equipment) than yeah why not.
