this is one of the most terrible equipments i have ever seen in my life. It's all wrong. Too much mana to cast and and equip. force to play green and sacrifing a forest every turn just to keep a trampling creature? with today standards power creep, this looks to me modern age wood elemental

What are you expecting exactly? It's not meant to be Constructed playable. It's Limited filler, you're only going to actually sac the Forest if you don't care about lands by that time anyway, it's not like you're going to do that on T4. It's actually a pretty useful ability to force through damage in the late game in Limited. Having said that this type of equipment are generally overrated in Limited and are no better than filler, when it works it's good, but this will cost lots of people the game as the blowout potential is high.
there's a card like this that's uncommon from mirrodin, this is better if you are playing green artifacts. i wonder if this would be playable if there's green artifact stuff in brother's war?

Indeed, but it is in that awkward spot where it's a "strong limited uncommon," but uncommons are making a comeback at being a good cardslot for opening packs again. So it's like a bad rare in that sense; a disappointment.
And we've found our meme card, this is too overcosted to be actually good in Limited, so it's only usefulness is literally being a chainsaw you can equip on your Fleshtaker for sh*ts and giggles. For that one time where you'll sac a Forest to push the final damage through, this will make you question your card choices pretty much every time you realize you're playing an overcosted Equipment instead of a filler creature that would have been more useful almost any other time.

What do I expect is to see an equipment that even if it's not constructed playable is at least limited playable. And a six mana equipment that makes you behind the mana it's exactly what I would never play because no equipments ever had such harsh drawbacks for such little gain. And as somebody else noticed, aura/equipments are already not so great usually because they're terrible topdecks at empty hand and board that cant win the games alone, doing them a bit more playable than this outrageous hot garbage wouldn't hurt.
This card is a tempo loss in all ways possible. Waste a turn to cast and do nothing. Waste a turn to equip, being a land behind while attacking and finally your opponents doing a removal on your equipped creature before damages doing 2x1 every time. If you wanna lose all the games in draft or sealed, play this card please.
Flavour-wise it fits. The "you may" part is key here but nothing stellar to write home about. I mean if it had "Sacrifice a forest" as an alt equip cost then it'd be even better.

Fun fact: Trepanation Blade was designed by Richard Garfield as a top-down chainsaw. Well, we finally have a chainsaw on Innistrad.
