Expectations: The bride and the groom ride off into the sunset, to begin the rest of their eternal lives together.
Reality: Two 1/1s (most likely tokens) hijack the wedding Vehicle and run someone over with it.
Because it's clear Standard needed another Esika's Chariot, this time in a color known for fast go-wide aggro decks, true, this one doesn't bring its own crew or multiplies tokens, but is cheaper, hits harder AND tramples , and lets you use the 1-drops you should have in play already. This card also feels like it could have been rare, I'm not sure putting a 5/5 trample for 3, in Red of all colors, at uncommon is a good idea for Limited where getting 2 dorks in play is almost trivial for any draft deck with red in it.
This isn't Esika's Chariot. Esika's Chariot provides its own crew. If you have no board or 1 creature, this is just a blank piece of cardboard, that's a big drawback, whereas Esika's Chariot always does work, and is hard to interact with profitably.
Normally things that need at least 2 other creatures in play aren't good, and I don't see this being any different.

I agree regarding Standard, I was dramatizing a bit but this is obviously no Chariot, but I'm not convinced about making this an uncommon for Limited purposes, it's not that difficult to go T1 creature, T2 creature T3 Hearse so pretty much any deck with Red in it will want one, and a 5/5 trampler is always a respectable threat or blocker if you need one.
What happened to crew? Flavor win if you crew it with serf tokens but I think this is just a bad renegade frigate - 2 dorks is a lot more to ask than 1 less wimpy dork. 5 toughness is largely irrelevant and being a better blocker is not the role of vehicles in all but the worst situations.

I think it doesn't have crew so you have to "crew" it with 2 creatures and exactly 2 creatures

How i feel about competitive players and casual players in EDH: The competitive are german tourists, the casual are italian tourists, both in a italian beach. The italians asking themselves "why are the germans here?" make a legitimate question, the answer is because the beach is beautiful, no matter the country you came from. The italians wanting to ban the germans are dumb, because if the germans pay for their stay and follow the rules like everyone else, they have the right to be in the beach. Hovewer, if the germans started to ask themselves "why are the italians here?"... they would be dumb as hell.

You're supposed to crew using 2 mouse or maybe rats in this case and WotC wanted to make sure 1 creature doesn't make it to mirror the fairy tale.
Wrong story, the two creatures are the bride and groom.
I feel like mechanically it's a flavor fail though. To activate the vehicle - to make it move (attack) - it needs creatures like horses to pull it. What would two people riding in the carriage add to it - how would that mobilize the carriage? In my mind this ability is turning two of your creatures into beasts of burden. I know that's not Design's intention, but I feel that's what happened here.

The way I see it, as per the flavor text, the horses are already there, just waiting a command from their masters.

The art clearly has horses in front waiting along with the flavor text.

Weird, I swore they did this before (Crew: Tap two untapped creatures you control), but I guess not. Ok, I'll allow it.
