Here's the thirteen permanents card from MaRo's teaser. Since it's in Red, the permanents you'll have around to trigger the 7 damage will be lands, Treasures and some beaters. Thankfully, you can easily sacrifice Treasures to get to exactly thirteen permanents, but it's still a bit clunky.
Yuck why give a poor reward for getting exactly 13 permanents that damage should have been double or just double the tokens I would rather keep the token production
and With that flavor text I’m blown away it’s not a story spotlight.
I feel like they should increase the mana cost of this and have it deal 13 damage so it could have a more splashy effect. That or don’t have it sacrifice itself and instead let it trigger every time you have 13 permanents on your end step, since you’d need to put in the effort to keep yourself at 13 permanents when getting a 1/1 every turn.
How i feel about competitive players and casual players in EDH: The competitive are german tourists, the casual are italian tourists, both in a italian beach. The italians asking themselves "why are the germans here?" make a legitimate question, the answer is because the beach is beautiful, no matter the country you came from. The italians wanting to ban the germans are dumb, because if the germans pay for their stay and follow the rules like everyone else, they have the right to be in the beach. Hovewer, if the germans started to ask themselves "why are the italians here?"... they would be dumb as hell.
This will be the A track garbage red rare that shows up in greater frequency than other playable rares.

STOP using "dude/bro" as a pejorative or insult. Grow up.
Margaret Thatcher: “The problem with socialism is that you eventually run out of other people's money.”
Benjamin Franklin: "Those who would give up essential Liberty, to purchase a little temporary Safety, deserve neither Liberty nor Safety."
Martin Luther King Jr.: "I have a dream that my four little children will one day live in a nation where they will not be judged by the color of their skin, but by the content of their character."
Yeah, this one looks bad. If it made 2 tokens a turn and with 13 tokens you could blow it up then it would be way better and more challenging to get the effect. Missed opportunit, also, it is getting old all those 13 cards. First 3 (?) times they were fun, now it is just bothering. If they all were connected in a story at least it would have been fun.

How much life is your opponent going to have left anyway?
Finally a good white villain quote: "So, do I ever re-evaluate my life choices? Never, because I know what I'm doing is a righteous cause."

But yeah that flavour text...seems like a pivotal moment in the story. Wonder why it's not a story spotlight.
