This might have been designed for werewolves but it’s going straight into my Boros Humans deck. A 1/2 body with menace is an upgrade on all 1 drop humans in this standard.
I don't feel like it's desigbed for werewolf decks. It's not a werewolf itself, it's actually slower than you think, and it involves tthe graveyard. Seems more like a generically good red card.
In this standard, if your on play I think its plenty fast. T1 this, opponents turn. T2 drop Luminarch Aspirant or Rally the Ranks and suddenly its a 2/3 that they can't block because they only have one creature. That's as good a 1 drop is its likely to get.
A neat card, I just hope they print an actual wolf/werewolf one drop that's playable. This is pretty terrible in a dedicated werewolf deck, the ability can help spend mana without casting spells to flip to/keep it night, but the three cards is kind of a big cost in a creature heavy deck and being an off tribe, 1 powered creature is a pretty hard sell.
This looks more like a midrange dude than anything else. Shame the exile-3-cards cost makes it not play nice with Delirium, Delve, and Escape in Modern (although it can try to not eat your Flashback cards). This reminds me of Herald of Anafenza (although this might meet Herald of Anafenza's fate).
How i feel about competitive players and casual players in EDH: The competitive are german tourists, the casual are italian tourists, both in a italian beach. The italians asking themselves "why are the germans here?" make a legitimate question, the answer is because the beach is beautiful, no matter the country you came from. The italians wanting to ban the germans are dumb, because if the germans pay for their stay and follow the rules like everyone else, they have the right to be in the beach. Hovewer, if the germans started to ask themselves "why are the italians here?"... they would be dumb as hell.

I agree, really the only thing its that it has a "mana sink" ability to make wolves but even then werewolf decks aren't very graveyard focused.

Werewolves finally get a 1-drop to support the deck, but is it enough to bring them back to the top Standard tables?
