Creature - Eye Horror (R)
Menace
When this creature transforms, target opponent reveals their hand. You may choose a nonland card from it. If you do, that player discards that card then draws a card.

I could see this being a good ground creature, but I have no idea what deck it goes into.
So this kinda resembles Vendilion Clique for 4 mana or 1+3 mana. Dunno if that makes it Modern-playable, but at least it never dies to Bolt and Wrenn and Six cannot just ping and kill it and call it a day.
Now creative-wise, this is what I want to see on an Eldritch horror type of creature, not "it's a guy with a tentacle beard I guess" (looking at you, Runo).
The Vendilion Clique effect on this one feels a bit weird, I always felt that "they have to discard, but they also get to draw" was a workaround for discard effects in mono blue.
Well, a couple of days of testing Concealing Curtains // Revealing Eye in Modern and I'm on the fence about whether it makes the cut. On the one hand, it actually survived to snipe cards in opposing hands (especially against red/UR decks) and even ended up being a viable evasive fatty in midrange decks at times (yes, it did end up winning a game or two), and playing nice with Lurrus of the Dream-Den is a big plus. On the other hand, Prismatic Ending is a huge beating against it, it died to removal in response to transforming slightly often, and I never tutored for it against control or combo decks when playing it in BG Yawgmoth, Thran Physician midrange-combo.
I think Urza's Saga Jund will end up testing it for longer, and those rare Grixis Midrange decks will want it if they want to keep Delirium too much to play with Kroxa, Titan of Death's Hunger, but I'm pretty sure BG Yawgmoth would rather play with Augur of Autumn or tutor for Grist, the Hunger Tide (and then sideboard in targeted removal against combo).

I used to be a demigod, but now I'm an omnimage
