A lot of Innistrad's Dragons really do like spellslinger strategies, but this might be the first one that prefers quality (big spells) over quantity of spellslinging.

For an EDH Will and Rowan deck I've been wanting more cards like these, helps give win-cons to spell-slinging.

“There are no weak Jews. I am descended from those who wrestle angels and kill giants. We were chosen by God. You were chosen by a pathetic little man who can't seem to grow a full mustache"

How i feel about competitive players and casual players in EDH: The competitive are german tourists, the casual are italian tourists, both in a italian beach. The italians asking themselves "why are the germans here?" make a legitimate question, the answer is because the beach is beautiful, no matter the country you came from. The italians wanting to ban the germans are dumb, because if the germans pay for their stay and follow the rules like everyone else, they have the right to be in the beach. Hovewer, if the germans started to ask themselves "why are the italians here?"... they would be dumb as hell.
With Innistrad, I have always wondered how the humans and other monsters react to dragons. We hear about the terrors that humans battle all the time and while the Innistrad dragons seem powerful they're just kind of "there" in the cards. I wonder if people run and hide from dragons or if they don't even consider them a threat for some reason.
Makes Alrund’s Epiphany smash for 6 (or 7 if it wasn’t fortold), but I’m not sure if that’s enough for it to compete with goldspan dragon in the izzet dragons decks.
basically cheaper shark typhoon with a body, overpowered as f...
As a Modern player, I've found that I not only cycle Shark Typhoon significantly more often than I hardcast it (and I often cycle it for more mana than its mana value, to boot), I've also lost games where I hardcast Shark Typhoon instead of cycling it because I never made enough Sharks afterwards in time.
Nah, Manaform Hellkite is going into more midrange-y decks than Shark Typhoon.
The thing with a card like this is how many 4 mana creatures that have no protection, and no immediate value actually see play these days? I think this needed haste itself to be playable, as it is I don't see it.
Probably completely broken with Delve and such mechanics ...
You get a ton of power that this just wins in 1 swing.
Not a fan of these busted overpowered "mythics" that also represent a 4/4 flying for 4 mana ...
This doesn't work the way you are hoping. Exiling cards for Delve does not count as spending a mana so you cast a 1 mana Treasure Cruise, you get a 1/1, not an 8/8.

Shark Typhoon is a much better card than this. For one the sharks stay around, but more importantly Shark Typhoon is cycled like 90% of the time. Without the cycling bit Shark Typhoon would be unplayable.
Playing since 1994: Currently MAGS (HomeBrew),Standard & Pauper (Pioneer and Modern are degenerate trash formats)

Hey, six 1/1s can often be better than one 6/6!
