We plan to do all this for the upcoming, soon-to-be-announced Secret Lair Universes Beyond partnership. We do not plan to go back and do this for the cards from The Walking Dead. Sometimes plans change. Cards from Secret Lair X The Walking Dead will have in-Magic versions created and available on The List at a date to be announced.
as long as the pull rate is exactly the same as the MTG versions of stranger things in the New capena list (1 of 8 packs in every set booster) this is the best news people can here for wanting mtg versions of cards
they will anounce when these will pop out. (though i got the strangest feeling it will be crimson vow)
Question now is when the Magic-adjacent versions will come out. I'm guessing it's after the Street Fighter adaptations.
Or maybe the set after New Capenna?

How i feel about competitive players and casual players in EDH: The competitive are german tourists, the casual are italian tourists, both in a italian beach. The italians asking themselves "why are the germans here?" make a legitimate question, the answer is because the beach is beautiful, no matter the country you came from. The italians wanting to ban the germans are dumb, because if the germans pay for their stay and follow the rules like everyone else, they have the right to be in the beach. Hovewer, if the germans started to ask themselves "why are the italians here?"... they would be dumb as hell.
They either need to pare down the list (eliminating the chaff) or put a list card in EVERY set booster. Their stinginess is far beyond welcome.

STOP using "dude/bro" as a pejorative or insult. Grow up.
Margaret Thatcher: “The problem with socialism is that you eventually run out of other people's money.”
Benjamin Franklin: "Those who would give up essential Liberty, to purchase a little temporary Safety, deserve neither Liberty nor Safety."
Martin Luther King Jr.: "I have a dream that my four little children will one day live in a nation where they will not be judged by the color of their skin, but by the content of their character."

the only way I know a card is on the list is if someone I know or I open one in a pack and I never know if one leaves. The list needs heavy improvement.
If the magic universe equivalent has a different name, won’t that make the secret lair ones even more valuable for commander; like Ravages of War compared to Armageddon?

of coarse it does it’s the rarer version of the card
Ofcoarse we are still yet to hear how there gonna do mtg versions of cards from UB sets and commander decks

Nope, the two cards will officially be considered the same, so any given commander deck can only have one from each pair.
Please, mill me. Mill my important cards. Mill my lands. Mill it all. Because I will still deal 20 damage before you can mill 45 cards most every time.
They either need to pare down the list (eliminating the chaff) or put a list card in EVERY set booster. Their stinginess is far beyond welcome.
As far as we can tell, the frequency of these cards will be seperate from The List's size. If they're guarenteeing one in every 8 set boosters, they'd have to be either 50% of The List (unlikely), or they're effectively a seperate "slot" from the normal The List. The latter seems far more likely to me. So the main question mark to me is whether they'll be supplating "normal" pulls, meaning that the frequency of other The List cards will go down to 1/8 (to make it 1/4 packs having "The List" cards in them), or if they'll be supplemental. Either way, there should be plenty in circulation.
Blake said they are changing the list cards to appear 1 in every 4 packs and half of those will be the Universe Beyond cards which how we get the 1/8 packs.
Question now is when the Magic-adjacent versions will come out. I'm guessing it's after the Street Fighter adaptations.
Or maybe the set after New Capenna?
They said in the article that they might have Universe Beyond be on the list for multiple sets so Dominaria Untied might already have the ST slotted in.

"You can tell how dumb someone is by how they use Mary Sue"
What I'm most curious about is whether they will issue errata for the Magic TWD cards for Walker Tokens being the same as Zombie tokens, changing the functionality of Daryl and to a lesser extent Negan, Lucielle and Michonne or if they will come up with a "Wasp Token" scenario like with The Hive where the Walkers (or likely a Magic variant that is treated the same as Walkers for copyright reasons) are "named Zombie tokens."
It would be cool if they kept the limited functionality but would probably be another nail in the coffin if WotC has to go back to errata Walkers as regular Zombie tokens, effectively errata'ing those cards.
Still glad I ordered the set though! And glad that Eleven will eventually join them once my STRANGER THINGS Secret Lair arrives!
(As a controversial side note, I know people joke about having a mashup of all the different UB IPs making Magic unrecognizable but I kinda WANT to build an EDH deck with one of everything just for Sh*** and Giggles.)

your question is already answered, Walkers are 2/2 black zombies named walker.

Excellent. Wasn't sure that we had a rules update for that Secret Lair and didn't have the luxury of fact checking while I was posting. So then, the question is whether the new Magic cards will still use the Walker templating due to the preexisting rules or whether copyright will cause them to create another named token entry

And I do not look at it because I don't buy enough set boosters to know it nor whatever they add/subtract to affect me in any way. I'm certainly not keeping that database updated in my head every 3 months when they +/- 75 cards. If you can then all respect to you, but I will not be doing that.

didn,t they say that MTG universe Ub cards will apear more often than the normal list cards?
All I want is for this game to be Theros: the Gathering.
Return GOOD commander decks that are not boring, plane-locked and uninspired. I miss sets like Commander 2016 and 2018. We can't even expect MTG characters in MTG anymore but we have this? WHERE IS KIORA'S NEW CARD ADAPTED FROM BEING AN ARENA EXCLUSIVE

speaking of theros I missed horde based mtg promos this pandemic like this that i can also play in single player
I hope they would return them sometime again like mirrodin theme, phyrexian theme, eldrazi theme, dominaria theme, nicolbolas attack on ravnica and etc. something base on the previous story.

Commander Cards are still good now you get them also on standard but not as broken like before. I just hope more commander utility cards to improve commamder decks

WHY DO WE HAVE THESE BEFORE KIORA
Correct me if I'm wrong, but wasn't Commander 2016 the year they made the Partner Mechanic? A Mechanic, if I am correct, created some of the most overpowered Commander decks that we still feel the effects of today?
I also would be hesitant to call 2018 a "Good" Commander year since two of those decks played horrible out of the box and weren't even cohesive in their construction.
I agree somewhat that I don't much care for the plane-tied treatment for Commander decks... when they first came out. Nowadays, it seems like they've figured out how to make them better. No longer do we get 1-3 unique cards in a deck but an average of 15 like usual Commander releases. This is also the place for them to put any cards they want to design for Commander but are wary about putting into a Standard environment. I'm also a huge fan of what they did with Midnight Hunt with the Commander peripheral cards in the Set/Collector boosters, though I grossly misunderstood how Avacyn's Memorial read! I hope they keep this treatment going forward.
That said, not sure what this had to do with the Thread topic, but had to put in my two cents!
Also, @Ernart, I LOVED those decks! I bought two of each when they came out so I could customize them and make them harder to play against. Though, it's hard to scale to a Commander deck lol. I still also have my full set of Hero cards as well that I keep with them (had to send off for the Equipment ones because I missed JOU prerelease, but managed to get extra of the added effect stickers from my LGS and put them on sleeves so I could customize the Equipment without permanently changing them!)

Great you managed to get the full set. I missed a lot of those hero cards i only had few. I only ad 2 equipments haha. I hope they would return that gimmick I like this more than planechase and archenemy, because i could play them even i am alone and it's less complicated it's just cards so it's simple to setup. I like Vanguard too.
