Morbid callout in the name aside, they downgraded an effect usually seenat rare to uncommon, took out the usual lifeloss, and dropped it in a set where every Zombie token sacrifices itself. Of course it gets gated to once per turn like Deathreap Ritual did.
Not only that, it is not limited to your own creatures. And you can get two cards per full turn if your opponent is foolish enough to attack you into your blockers.
I wonder how this compares to grim haruspex for the edh spot. I think the once per turn is the death of this card's playability despite the token triggers. I think this is the first time we've seen this kind of draw on a rogue card though so that is always a thing...
Notice how it's not restricted to nontoken creatures, this guy can bury your opponent in CA if you have enough decayed zombies around to throw away at your opponent's face. This will be huge in Limited I'm sure.
