Darksteel Forge is only indestructible on the battlefield. In the graveyard, library, and stack, its not indestructible. I don't think that matters at this particular moment for this particular card, but this is the standard template now so that cards like Mwonvuli Beast Tracker and Soulflayer work properly.
Maybe in the future we will have an artifact that makes all permanent cards in the battlefield indestructible even that artifact is on the graveyard like Glory, Wonder, Anger and the other Judgement Cycle Cards that are graveyard matters.
Sorin should etch a eulogy on the base of that memorial
And obviously this had to be weaker than Avacyn herself!
She was an angel, and this is made of wood, straw, twine, and clay (and love)
Why would that surprise any of you?
It would have been more interesting if they made a marionette version of hers stalking the Innistrad Graveyards, like someone is pulling her string and making the villagers believe that Avacyn is still around protecting them
OK, I did not fully process this when I saw it earlier. Set booster exclusives? It's 7 cards, just put them in the commander decks.
There is no red deck, so this would be an incomplete cycle and the curse straight up would not exist.
The red ones could go in Crimson Vow's decks, they're already connected products. Or just split 'em 4 and 4 across the decks as additional cards instead of a brick with the commander printed on it.
Lol at them memorializing her in her evil form. Innistrad ppl dummies.
Huh, you're kinda right.
I mean, her pose is heavily based on her original art in Innistrad, but the spear is assymetric, like in her corrupted form. How does this even happen art-wise. They would have needed to show the artist both arts for reference? But why.
That could also be her actual spear.

LOL! I sure hope it’s the second option.
