Wait Tavern Rufian is a woman? damn girl, they did you wrong
Candletrap is good.
Might of the old ways good card, don't like to think too about the flavor as it makes it seems like old Innistrad (before avacyn) could handle pretty well the horrors of the world (when in fact we know this to be false).

How i feel about competitive players and casual players in EDH: The competitive are german tourists, the casual are italian tourists, both in a italian beach. The italians asking themselves "why are the germans here?" make a legitimate question, the answer is because the beach is beautiful, no matter the country you came from. The italians wanting to ban the germans are dumb, because if the germans pay for their stay and follow the rules like everyone else, they have the right to be in the beach. Hovewer, if the germans started to ask themselves "why are the italians here?"... they would be dumb as hell.
Defenestration of whatever it is. Destroy target creature without flying? I'm glad because I can't fly so that means an easy removal spell right....right?
That devil is a cute day/night payoff effect.

Brutal cathar seems quite strong. At its worst it is basically a 2/2 Fiend Hunter, with upside to become a 3/3 first strike with ward (a real threat on the battlefield) and extra upside to fiend hunt something else.
edit: I guess if it is already night when you want to cast it, you can't get the cathar effect right away. But then you have a 3/3 first strike ward 3 life for 3, with major threat on board potential.
I am most fascinated by the disturb mechanic--getting to cast a card from the graveyard transformed = win. At the very least, the Prized Amalgam approves.
I think getting any sort of "target card in your graveyard has disturb; its disturb cost is equal to its mana cost" would be far too broken in almost every format. Of course, if it can target only cards which transform then that may not be too terribly bad, but still potentially broken.

Not sure I follow; why would that be so broken? Even ignoring the restriction that it could only work with transform cards, aren't you just describing basically Regrowth or Raise Dead?
I approve of these mechanics been a bunch of sets since I have, they have gotten increasingly complicated.
The day/night thing is slightly awkward but it's just the flip requirement for werewolves but now it is applied across the whole battlefield so you can force night and then just play all flipped werewolves instead of having to flip each one.

It did not take too terribly long for Underworld Breach to get banned in Legacy, a format where your graveyard is your second--and better--hand. Not saying that such a card will be in the set but speculating that it would be powerful effect.
I just realized that a lot of spirit tribal during SoI had blink/return to hand/ebt kind of effects and we have some in standard. If they get a few good disturb spirits you could semi-keep them alive forever since if you blink them they will come back as a humans if you mix them with the blink stuff.

If you're suggesting something that gave everything in your graveyard disturb, or gave something disturb perpetually (an Arena-only mechanic) then sure, maybe. But a one-shot "you may replay something" is very run of the mill. The whole transformation thing here too is a big difference.

Today Mark talks about how werewolves led to the start of Midnight Hunt, and reveals our first White werewolf that transforms into a Red one (there's going to be a Blue Werewolf that transforms into a Green Werewolf). Also now available is the Mechanics article and tthe first story article of the set.
EDIT: These four snuck in through the Mechanics videos. If they sneak up on me again, I will throw them out of the window.

Coven is at least achievable in generic creature-heavy enough decks (I'm thinking Modern Collected Company decks).
