How i feel about competitive players and casual players in EDH: The competitive are german tourists, the casual are italian tourists, both in a italian beach. The italians asking themselves "why are the germans here?" make a legitimate question, the answer is because the beach is beautiful, no matter the country you came from. The italians wanting to ban the germans are dumb, because if the germans pay for their stay and follow the rules like everyone else, they have the right to be in the beach. Hovewer, if the germans started to ask themselves "why are the italians here?"... they would be dumb as hell.

From what I recall, Bolas had her mask but she wasn’t 100% confirmed dead. Am I remembering wrong?
Night's Reach is alive. Bolas had defeated her and stripped away most of her dark power, and stolen her genuine porcelain mask (her "divinity counter") but she had fled again. I imagine the Sisters can restore her, and probably have. But all I can be sure about is that she survived.
Ok I have to ask, who plays Magic the Gathering and Fortnite or otherwise be interested in that outer worlds product?
The only thing I can think is that it is WOTC trying to get more players.
I have nephews who love fortnite and I might get the secret lair to get them more interested in playing magic. I think there’s probably some who are fans of both especially since the advent of arena.

First you have to get the Fortnite SL to see how Palpatine came back to life. Why Disney thought putting a major plot point in a game like that was a good idea I'll never know, but that's basically SW#9 in a nutshell.
I'm going to call it now that for The Brothers' War we'll most likely see more Saga cards. And probably Phyrexian tribal of some sort. That, and maybe some neat reprints like Mishra's Factory (one can hope!).
Kamigawa Neon Dynasty is giving me very strange and strong FF7 Remake/FF15 mash-up feelings, more the former than the latter. I'm curious to see how they pull this off. Now if they focus on creating a cohesive storyline plot with a little bit more effort...

Maybe Kamigawa Neon Dynasty will be the perfect set to reprint Skullclamp with its original artwork (probably not gonna happen since it is likely too strong for standard though)

There better be a card called "UNLIMITED POWER!!!"
You know what, I’m going to speculate on something that we are going to get an answer to relatively soon.
The showcase stressed that Olivia will be marrying a mystery suitor and I am going full genre-savvy to try predicting things.
Olivia is trying to “marry” the moon. While the set may initially show us another vampire groom, Olivia will kill/sacrifice that groom and end up “marrying” the moon.
Being married in a way that would give her a traditional husband would be against brand for Olivia and creating a blood moon (and the set will be releasing on a blood moon, btw) may somehow give her influence over werewolves in addition to vampires, making her the undisputed ruler of innistrad.
Seems like exactly the sort of thing Wizards would do.

While I think that you may be on to something as far as it being non traditional I think that the ceremony is some how going to empower the Voldaran and Markov bloodlines. Based off of the art of the collector booster for Crimson Vow it looks like Olivia and Edgar and seems more evocative of the ritual that created the vampires on Innistrad Blood Tribute. I think that there is too much bad blood between Olivia and Sorin for even a marriage of convenience. Before we got Mob Nixilis and that art was revealed I thought it could have possibly be him.

Considering what Olivia did for fun it is equally as likely she just kidnapped some poor nobody and plans to cut him up like a wedding cake after they say "I do."

They already do something like that on a regular basis. The court of the vampire king/queen is a three day holiday where they kidnap a human where they are treated as a king and all of there requests are given besides any that let them get away. At the end of the three days all of the vampires feed on the king/queen. They may have already revealed she is getting married to a Markhov according to this wiki https://mtg.fandom.com/wiki/Innistrad:_Crimson_Vow#cite_note-11. I just watched the segment on the Magic Showcase on Crimson Vow and the wedding does seem like a merging of power in order to take over Innistrad so I'm 99% convinced that she is marrying Edgar.

That is what I was referring to when I mentioned Olivia's idea of fun. And if she was going to marry someone I don't think it would be Edgar, chances are it would be someone who shared her tastes in entertainment. Or again it could be and we get a Red Wedding MTG edition as Olivia takes out a major rival faction.

For the record, I predicted that the Forgotten Realms was going to get a Commander Legends set after seeing AFR.
Of all the types of products for MtG it's the best suited to the Forgotten Realms and it addresses the problems AFR had, such as not enough Legendary Creatures, and having to conform to the needs of Standard.
FR can easily fill 72 or even 104 or more Legendary Creature & Planewalker slots.
I hope the set also has Sagas.
I think this set will lean in heavier into Forgotten Realms lore then AFR which was too generic D&D in spots.
It also likely won't have those immersion killing modal instant and sorcories.
I think it could also have Etched Foil reprints of AFR Legendaries. I could also see reprints of generic Commander Staples like Dockside Extortionist, but with Forgotten Realms art and flavour text . It will also likely have spell reprints of spells that share a name and theme with D&D spells like Fireball and Wall of Stone, but I think CL: BfBG will have a higher amount of new cards then the original Commander Legends.
I also predict they will have Gith and other new Creature types. Nautiliods are confirmed by the concept art, which is really cool, because it's fits next year's sci fi theme, as Nautiliods are Mindflayer living spaceships (Spelljammers) that can travel in space, but can also shift between planes. Nautiliods are beyond cool. Really excited for this set.
"What was the rationale for setting the next commander legends in Balders Gate? From the original commander legends reactions it seems there were a number of MTG legends that people still wanted to see printed whereas Elminster seemed to be the only one that I really saw people missing from AFR. Balders Gate is also just one city in the forgotten realms so presumably this limits options for legends vs the whole of the forgotten realms or other worlds/settings like Greyhawk or Eberron?"
"The second Commander Legends needed a theme and we thought the audience would enjoy another D&D set. There are going to be many opportunities to make more legendary characters from Magic’s past. We even have a whole premier expansion coming, Brothers War, set in the past with a lot of Magic characters people have been asking for."

Why do they believe that the 2nd one needs a theme? Isn't the theme commander? It's not like Modern Horizons 2 needed a theme, WotC didn't go "Make it Spirit Halloween themed."
WOTC corrupted one of its most popular products with literally the worst of its ideas in recent years, shackling Commander Legends to DND. Commander Legends 2 went from being the second most desirable 2022 product for me (after Kamigawa 2.0) to being utterly nonexistent. These inter-IP products are abhorrent to me.
I doubt they’ll be worth more than the original foils.
