i think there were mentions of the midnight hunt commander decks have flip commanders
Even if you make a flip commander (and is confirmed they won't) you still can't make a werefolk precon because you would still other 20+ werewolf flip cards from innistrad 1&2

How i feel about competitive players and casual players in EDH: The competitive are german tourists, the casual are italian tourists, both in a italian beach. The italians asking themselves "why are the germans here?" make a legitimate question, the answer is because the beach is beautiful, no matter the country you came from. The italians wanting to ban the germans are dumb, because if the germans pay for their stay and follow the rules like everyone else, they have the right to be in the beach. Hovewer, if the germans started to ask themselves "why are the italians here?"... they would be dumb as hell.
i didn't even talk about doing a extra turn spell before doing any of those and I’m talking final fortune type spells
Extra turn effects make everything better. That's not even a point. "This game winning combo is better if you cast a Time Warp or Final Fortune before you pull it off!" Yeah so? That applies to literally every game winning combo ever. It doesn't make this card good. This is just an Azure Mage with cute trinket text.
Okay, so in order to recreate the simple and effective combo of Thassa's Oracle + Demonic Consultation, you need to have this creature in play, have it live to your next turn, and either cast Stroke of Genius or Blue Sun's Zenith for 6+, or have Necropotence + an extra turn effect, or have Yawgmoth + enough creatures to get to 13 cards in hand?
Yeah, again, that's way more hoops to jump through than Thassa's Oracle. This is nowhere close.
That's nonsense. Werewolves are always flipped, it's their raison d'etre.
werewolf pack leader
If werewolves don't find another niche besides transforming, they will always have these logistic issues and a true werewolf precon will be impossible
While I think it's smart for them to explore another mechanical way to represent Werewolves, I wonder if they truly can't just work on improving the logistical issues themselves. But then again, they've had ten years to look into those, so they've probably already determined that the logistical issues are here to stay.
The problem with defining this format by what is "fun" is that everyone seems to define fun as what they don't lose to. If you keep losing to easily answered cards, that means you should improve your deck. If you don't want to improve your deck, then you should come to peace with the idea that you are going to lose because you chose to not interact with better strategies.
All the complaints about no Werewolf previews...they literally said on the stream they're holding these back as there's a new mechanic with them they want to focus on later. Just chill out and be patient before you go burning your Kessig Wolf Runs geez
For something thats supposed to be Werewolves vs Vampires; it feels like its just Undead we're seeing.
Aren't vampires undead?

Haven't they been putting dual faced tokens in every commander set for like 5 years now? Is a DFC that more difficult than a token?
Yes. Tokens and ad cards are printed differently from normal magic cards, they don't have magic backs for one, so making tokens double faced is logistically easier than making normal cards double faced. Normal cards are printed together on sheets but double-faced cards need their own sheet because they don't have a magic card back like all the rest.

That's under the assumption you have four lands in hand. Wrenn is certainly strong in various strategies, but if you're not he's okay. I do wonder if that mill will be why Wrenn is played in new Standard with Innistrad 3 & 3-2 rather than thanks to land strategies.

Life from the Loam can get 3 lands back which is one Landfall trigger shy of dealing 4 damage to each opponent and planeswalker you don't control with Omnath.

Yes, but if you're casting Wrenn on turn 5, and assuming 5 mana at the time, then you can't Life From the Loam that turn as per your example.

aand why is mana ramp from like sol ring and others not taken into factor?

Just because they came in and said they aren’t previewing them doesn’t stop it from being completely stupid to hold them back.
When the set is named after the tribe, you show people the flipping tribe in the previews. Especially the first round of them.
Ya know, multicolor flashback cards of kind of an odd thing to flaunt. Most sets are pretty low on multicolor cards and an uncommon multicolor cycle is usually used to signal draft archetypes. If we get more than 1-2 of these, part of me is hoping that we get a “reverse-morbid” keyword to go with them (something that triggers by casting a spell from your graveyard or a card returning from the graveyard to the battlefield). Would make sense in the zombie commander deck.
Edit: wait a moment. 2 DFCs per pack + 1 checklist card per pack = what? Are they going to put an “token” card in each pack as an initial justification for the pack price hike or what?
And really what would be the point of not making a werewolf themed commander pre-con if they could? They certain haven't been in the thought process of not trying to make more money and a werewolf pre-con would likely sell well with how request it has been.

Shhhh... don't reveal their secret to keeping the werewolf players upset.
It’s not really a secret. Tokens aren’t made the same as cards.
