Why did you bring a whole ball of elves, Anne? We only needed one.
+1 uncaps an elf and gives that elf and a random one in your hand each a perpetual +1/+1
-1 seeks an elf from your library.
-6 conjures a regal force onto the battlefield.
How i feel about competitive players and casual players in EDH: The competitive are german tourists, the casual are italian tourists, both in a italian beach. The italians asking themselves "why are the germans here?" make a legitimate question, the answer is because the beach is beautiful, no matter the country you came from. The italians wanting to ban the germans are dumb, because if the germans pay for their stay and follow the rules like everyone else, they have the right to be in the beach. Hovewer, if the germans started to ask themselves "why are the italians here?"... they would be dumb as hell.

I read that in zefrank's voice. True Facts about Elves.
And now I am imagining this too
"Imagine if your ears were pointy and you had a bunch of little green friends that would all kick butt with you if you needed to. That is how an elf do."
I know that, I'm saying that freyalise has never been an elemental-focused character, but always an elf tribal one. The fact that this is not *functionally regal force but with an elf typeline* makes no sense.
idk about you, but I'd take it one step further and say that this is disappointing since she could conjure literally anything from her lore, like... idk, the ******* world spell? it ended the ice age, ice = tapping, idk, something to do with untapping other permanents, especially ones that make mana? I know there's something green in magic's history that turns untapping into something degenerate, I just can't remember what it is.

You can't always have the perfect flavor win. Flavor is always a compromise with functional gameplay, and every single magic card in existance it's a flavor fail if you look deep enough (like Go fo the Throat killing a Headless Specter)
Mechanically, the card is perfect. Drawing cards in based of how many green things you got on field is exactly what any ellfball strategies want, and mechanically still feels Freyalise signature ultimate, since her first planeswalker card do with her ultimate basically the same thing too.
Flavor is a bit slippery, sure, but I can forgive that, the card works perfectly mechanically, and ultimately that's the most important thing. Also, in a Freyalise, Llanowar's Fury deck everybody would run the Majesty anyway, so it would be "in lore" of the headcanon of EDH deckbuilders anyway.
You know what I always tought to be really unforgivable to me? To not give to Vraska the Unseen Assassin token death touch despite the fact they can literally kill players. They can kill a player but not an Utopia Tree? WTF?
Be thankful of how this Freyalise was maded, it could had been much, much worse, both thematically and functionally.

I always thought that was neat since Vraska was quite selective in her actions in the story, going out of her way to pick and kill that one Azorius guy, not going on a siege of the Senate, but directly for the intended target. Discriminate killing.

Heck, every day I wake up, I don't go out and kill people - and I'm rewarded by not having legions of enemies! Amazing how that works.
Although ninjas are experts of camouflage and concealment, they are actually horrible liars. This means that no matter where you are, you can shout out, “Are there any ninjas here?” and if there’s a ninja within earshot, he’ll be compelled to respond.

You see, you even made a point of how being too loyal to flavor can actually do a feel-bad card in actual gameplay (for me at least)

The regal force from shadowmoor? weird
at the very least, she seems a lot better than Tyvar Kell.
mechanically, amazing. flavor wise? wtf.
Now we know what forms out of all the elf poop in the woods.

To be fair, planeswalkers in lore, can summon creatures (or copy of them) from any plane of the multiverse, so isn't so weird really.
