Inferno of the Star Mounts 4RR
Legendary Creature - Dragon (Mythic Rare)
This spell can't be countered.
Flying, haste R: Inferno of the Star Mounts gets +1/+0 until end of turn. When its power becomes 20 this way, Inferno deals 20 damage to any target.
6/6
The last mythic rare of the set is Imvaernarhro himself. What's the fastest and/or cheapest way to 20?
(For the Spanish speakers, this videos explains all the dragons of D&D.)
I just realized that you could overbuff the Dragon as an opponent. So if your opponent starts to buff this guy as soon as the firebreathing that pushes the thing to 20 goes on the stack you can throw something else in between like a +1/+0 or whatever. This way the ability hits 21 and the secondary effect doesn't trigger.

i think reaching the 20 to any target thing is a bit overkill, i mean in the turn you cast this if he survive the opponent it's already at 14, this mean that next turn it's another 13 damage etc...or just go alrund and gg
a good tribute to shivan dragon but with the 20 damage is auto finisher
I hope someday they would make a legendary cards that tribute to the iconic one like they did with the mox with legendary property but for the creatures will still remain the same and exact of their original abilities along with same power and toughness, but has alternative cost as the new mechanic for that set like having suspend, morph, spectacle, convoke, affinity, madness, prowl and etc.
Something of legendary su-chi, legendary ball lighting, legendary serra angel, legendary shivan dragon and so fort.
like a legendary version of hypnotic specter with suspend, white knight with miracle, llanowar elf with convoke, erham djinn with spectacle or something like goblin king with dash. Something like a definite call back to those cards as legendary form but has their original names.
and Dragon Tyrant wasn't basically Shivan Dragon on absolute crack?
Well for instance, Tyrant has trample, this don't. And that alone could make already a huge difference, since Tyrant can't be chumpblocked. Also Tyrabt got double strike, which means he would very probably survive against another dragon. Also, Tyrant needed less mana to do more damages. Tyrant it's a pretty distinct monster from Shivan Dragon and this is just a Shivan Dragon with few more tricks going on. the "20 damage" part is more a gimmicky trincket text in vast majority of cases.
This one is kind of a big difference from Shivan. I don't remember Shivan Dragon being uncounterable or having haste. In fact I remember kid me getting my Shivan countered all the time which is why I switched to black to make everyone discard their counterspells. And everything else in their hand! > : (

I agree and that's why I say it's a "glorified version", a strictly better version of Shivan Dragon. But, gameplay-wise closer of the Shivan Dragon than Dragon Tyrant (for example it's a much better idea generally to give the Glistening Oil to the Tyrant than this guy if opponent got flyers blockers)

Take your pick
for But loophole of power increase get to 9/9 then unleash fury then you only need 2 more power
Edit: Probably some combo of Toralf's Hammer, the afforementioned Choose Your Weapon, then paying 2 R to get the trigger.
this thing is powerful, could end up in some constructed deck as well.

you are paying 7 for that, isn't just better to play alrund and do the 14 remaining damage?

This looks just like a glorified Shivan Dragon to me.

Pretty sure he's been doing that for more than a decade lol

no this is shiven dragon on steroids since it gains haste and Uncounterable and it blast someone for 20 damage if you get it to 20 with the ability
