This is very strong in a deck that casts it and remains with 3+ cards in hand.
getting the walker with 3 loyalty and a 8/8 for 6 mana is a pretty good deal.
I don't think it will se a ton of constructed play, though.
The problem with defining this format by what is "fun" is that everyone seems to define fun as what they don't lose to. If you keep losing to easily answered cards, that means you should improve your deck. If you don't want to improve your deck, then you should come to peace with the idea that you are going to lose because you chose to not interact with better strategies.
Yeah, they did. I think Vorinclex, Monstrous Raider was a sign they are aware of the situation but simply don't care to address it.
Mordenkainen is really sweet though, will definitely need a few copies for EDH, might be one of the few AFR cards I am interested in.
No sword though ;-(

Yeah, it doesn't really make Doubling Season any more targetable than it already is. If you see it you generally have to deal with it.
