In Standard, only seven creatures (and zero planeswalkers before two turns of plus abilities) will survive this, none of which see any competitive play. This will practically vaporize any and every Green creature and planeswalker you have to go against in the foreseeable future.
OH YEAH! Finally a way for Mono-Red to do something other than "Cleave or bust" whenever a huge Green fatty hits the board. Back then when burn was actually good, you could hope to force damage through and then finish the opponent off with burn spells but the current Red decks aren't even running actual burn so yeah, this is a welcome addition for now and the future.
