This effect has been done before and it was very playable in Limited, Standard, and Commander. The issue with that life reset ability isn't hitting 11 mana, it's having 8 targets in your graveyard with different mana values.
8 targets may be tough, but in Commander that's a game changing move (IF they deck doesn't rely on life gain, by which if you are above 40 life, it's actually a hinderance opposed to a boon).
In a fast green Zoo deck w/ a lot of mana acceleration, this is a beast of a card. It'll find it's way into many decks, as it's not too limiting, as with deck that maxes out on 4 cmc, there's: 1, G, 2, 1G, GG, 2G, 3, 1GG, GGG, 4, 3G, 2GG, 1GGG (this cost is pretty rare though) & GGGG (also pretty rare).
It would be al ittle bit of a work around to mkae sure there's diversity, but then Seasons Past should/would get played.

Mana value doesn't work that way. It is simply a new term for converted mana cost.

I believe "mana value" includes mana weight, ie how much color to how much colorless, in addition to numerical value. I mentioned "cmc" because only going 4 deep has 14 different values this can can tackle to return the life total to the starting life total.

Nope, mana value is a new term replacing converted mana cost, that's it. Mana cost and mana value are not the same thing.

and for thr life reset you don't need to jump threw hoops with resolute archangel and Oketra's last mercy (for last mercy just throw in a seedborn muse or turnabout)
