Today's YouTube video drops two more Classes, as well as the long-awaited debut of our friend Minsc and his friend, the miniature giant space hamster Boo, ready to go for the eyes (and eventually larger body parts).

so they made this because of vvorinclex i suppose, this will replace saga
These are way more akin to the level up cards from Rise of the Eldrazi than to sagas.
This is the way the level up mechanic should have been done in the first place (I mean we did have Figure of Destiny as the OG level up card). rather than a static cost such as Student of Warfare.
I'm really enjoying the flavor and the mechanics of the class cards, I hope we get many more cards like these in the future. I'm a bit surprised that these aren't legendary though. What's the flavor of spec'ing into the same class multiple times? I do like the ability to multi-class easily, maybe might be fun to do a 5-color every-class deck to emulate the player that always tries to do everything and generally ruins a good D&D experience.

Minsc has absolutely nothing in common with his dnd character. RWG? There is nothing green about him. Also, giants? Wtf?
They could have at least tried to read the source material if they were going to use known characters...

Minsc is a Ranger, that's fairly green. And Boo is (according to Minsc) a Miniature Giant Space Hamster - but he's only a Hamster initially, so Minsc's ability makes him Giant, is my guess.

That is awesome. I hope the ability to turn Boo into an actual Giant Space Hamster makes it into BG3 eventually.
It would be pretty easy to do a sub-format where you start the game with a class card in the command zone, except it's abilities are active, you can level it up from the command zone, and it can't be destroyed.

The one that makes a token wouldn't be played under these rules. I'm thinking to emulate the spell slots from dnd something like 8-7-6-5-4 quantity of mv 1-5, no color restrictions, class enters at the beginning of the first upkeep. that's only 50 cards though.

Getting your class disenchanted would be pretty crappy though. Everyone would run enchantment removal.
How i feel about competitive players and casual players in EDH: The competitive are german tourists, the casual are italian tourists, both in a italian beach. The italians asking themselves "why are the germans here?" make a legitimate question, the answer is because the beach is beautiful, no matter the country you came from. The italians wanting to ban the germans are dumb, because if the germans pay for their stay and follow the rules like everyone else, they have the right to be in the beach. Hovewer, if the germans started to ask themselves "why are the italians here?"... they would be dumb as hell.

Today Melissa DeTora talks about how Class came about, while the Mechanics article goes in-depth on how Classes work.
Meanwhile, the new cards from the Variants Gallery have decided to gather around one of the most common tropes in tabletop RPGs.

I really don't see how as they have different card design space and flavor. Also I doubt we will see classes after this set.

Play tons of cheap 0/1 tokens
Play sunrise sovereign
Activate Minsc for 0 to "pump" them
Add borderland behemoth and/or calamity bearer for maximum overkill (and winmore)
Otherwise use thundercloud shaman/realm-cloaked giant to wipe the enemy board
Crappy EDH combos part 2:
Steal the enemy board with captivating crew
Attack with them then turn them into 0/0 with Minsc
