The first one-sided Werewolf in almost two decades could get mono-green aggro off the ground in Standard. Note that while you can only mutate on this when you activate the ability, none of the mutated cards fall off when the Pack Leader becomes Human again.

Fun card, however I look at it as perhaps being a harbinger of what we could expect in Innistrad: Midnight Hunt in September.

This does take the place of the core set so I think that could be somewhat true, though might be more just a decent two drop for the deck.

Does the attack trigger mean that you still draw a card if you attack with 6+ power but then some of it dies to fall below 6 in response to the trigger?

Yes, you still attacked with all those creatures.
Good base stats, threatens to trade up, draws cards. It's gotta see some play, right?

I think you hit the nail on the head for this one as the art could easily have been used for an Innistrad setting and the Pack-tactics mechanic would fit well in a werewolf tribal theme.

Will Stephen Colbert get a preview card? He's another D&D nerd who has become famous.
Excuse you, definitely the kind of girl I'd bring home. Where's your sense of adventure?
RUNIN: Norse mythology set (awaiting further playtesting)

I'm here to tell you that all your set mechanics are bad
