Gavin starts off his marathon week of Good Morning Magic previews by describing the face cards of the AFR Commander precons, as well as telling everyone that all the precons will be previewed on July 2. Note that the other possible commander of the box is a monster, to contrast with all the face card heroes.
Leading the decks are:
Vrondiss, Rage of Ancients (RG Draconic Rage; will be revealed by LoadingReadyRun)
Prosper, Tome-Bound (BR Planar Portal; will be revealed by MTGGoldfish)
Sefris of the Hidden Ways (WUB Dungeons of Death; will be revealed by MTG Muddstah)
Galea, Kindler of Hope (GWU Aura of Courage; will be revealed by The Command Zone)
He also mentioned the following hints:
A white card that can phase out your creatures.
A legend with the the rules text, "Whenever an Illusion you control dies..."
A cursed version of a previous D&D-inspired Magic Card
A new card with the melee mechanic
A card named "Ride the Avalanche"
A card that uses component counters
A land that can remove an artifact, creature, or planeswalker from the battlefield.
A new enchant player curse
A card with the creature type "Beholder Skeleton"
An equipment with equip 10
A card with an ability that begins, "Until end of turn, permanents your opponents control gain..."
How i feel about competitive players and casual players in EDH: The competitive are german tourists, the casual are italian tourists, both in a italian beach. The italians asking themselves "why are the germans here?" make a legitimate question, the answer is because the beach is beautiful, no matter the country you came from. The italians wanting to ban the germans are dumb, because if the germans pay for their stay and follow the rules like everyone else, they have the right to be in the beach. Hovewer, if the germans started to ask themselves "why are the italians here?"... they would be dumb as hell.
I want to see the monster generals :D. All sounds good except the bant one. I hope is not another Bant enchantress Version Tuvasa the Sunlit is a pretty good card already. Sythis, Harvest's Hand is just Selesnya but everything you can want from an enchantress commander. I hope the name is just misleading.
Do we think that even though LoadingReadRun is listed first, they'll pull another stunt like with their Strixhaven Commander preview and arbitrarily hold it until the end of one of their regular videos late into the evening?
[Mainly just joking about it, no offense intended toward them or their content, just joking about their previous situation]
It does seem like the bant deck is... well... Auras, but if they can find a way to make an Aura deck feel different from other not-strictly-aura-based enchantress decks, I will almost certainly end up getting it to raid it for my mostly-Auras-based Rafiq.
RG first off hooray we finally got a commander deck of atleast one of every color combo now second I’m shocked it’s only gruul for dragon tribal I was exspect int atleast jund
BR might be rakdos spellslinger based on the commander which is shocking with lack of U (so shocked not grixis)
WUB nice I got a prediction the monster legend will be the second esper zombie tribal legend along with Varina
GWU it’s a no brainer it’s different approach of the “Adaptive enchantment” deck from commander 2018
I'm interested in seeing what the Monsters Legends are. The BR is likely a Demon or Devil, the RG deck is probably a Dragon, but what about the other two? Maybe WUB is a Lich, and GWU is a... Giant? Not sure what that one would be.
Ride the Avalance
Sorcery
Destroy target land. Each creature you control that shares one or more colors with the colors of mana that land could produce get +2/+2 and gain haste until end of turn.

I know for a fact the Bant-chantress deck is getting revealed first. I know it, because I will become nasty otherwise.
I hope not. That one sounds like the most boring one of the bunch. I'm hoping Loading Ready Run doesn't slow-roll this one though.
Ya know, while I respect that a lot of people probably just saw LRR on the list and tuned in specifically to get the list, I don't feel that they were "slow-rolling" the Witherbloom deck. Everything that they sent out was very transparent about them having their pre-prerelease and THEN spoiling the deck. Like, I had read announcements regarding that a couple days ahead of time.
LRR didn't do any of that annoying BS of just giving you a picture and drip-feeding abilities one line at a time like some previewers have. They didn't spoil one card between each match to force you to watch their entire event. They followed through with a plan that they made an honest effort to communicate in advance.
I do understand people who just want the spoilers and who don't want to sit through the rest. I personally think that LRR should have done the spoilers first as giving them out after a tournament of uncertain length means that they could not give you a definite time to tune in and get the info. I still don't feel that qualifies as slow-rolling, though.

Plus, LRR posts at midnight in their time zone, barring the Witherbloom deck. They'll drop their precon first of the four. Hell, the Bant deck might go last, because The Command Zone tends to be the latest to post their spoilers of all the four mentioned.

I think they should have spread them out throughout the stream instead of wait until the middle of the night.
Anyone that slow rolls out previews doesn't deserve them. Also, TCC should receive previews. Prof's Theros preview was my favorite preview of all time (and among my favorite cards, too)

Apparently he keeps turning new previews down (to give one more chance to smaller content creators), so Wizards basically stopped offering them to him.
It can phase out your creatures, but it's not guaranteed or the hint would simply say "a card which phases out your creatures"
Perhaps it can phase out other permanents as well?
For all we know it's the long awaited colorshifted variant of Teferi's realm which can't be reprinted as is

Ok, and your point is? It still counts as phasing, a mechanic I'm happy to see creeping back into the game along the deciduous category rather than a one-off appearance that mechanics of this nature tend to warrant.

Right. But 'Aura of Courage' or better say auras works different in D&D as auras in Magic. They are more like magics Enchantments instead of aura with would be more like blessings or other buff spells. I assumed that they would reference the paladin mechanic in D&D.
Aura of Courage
Starting at 10th level, you and friendly creatures within 10 feet of you can't be Frightened while you are conscious.
Saying that I think there were a new Enchantment type in the hints of Mark R. maybe this hero care for them and they are enchantments attached to a creature but buffing all your creatures while attached or something like that.

The RB one is a Tiefling
He is talking about the other possible commander in the deck we didn't see. This precons have a hero and a monster general. THe hero of the RB one is a Tiefling. The monster could be a demon or devil. Could a Deva, Solar count as monster?

The decks sound interesting; I definitely want to check out the Dungeons of Death and the Dragon one, depending on what they focus on.
Either way, they sound interesting at least.

Weird that they chose gruul for dragons
Bag of Holding becomes Bag of Devouring?
Also, kinda hope that "Whenever an Illusion you control dies..." means that I've got to examine the real estate in my 5c Changelings EDH.

RG first off hooray we finally got a commander deck of atleast one of every color combo now second I’m shocked it’s only gruul for dragon tribal I was exspect int atleast jund

WUB nice I got a prediction the monster legend will be the second esper zombie tribal legend along with Varina
GWU it’s a no brainer it’s different approach of the “Adaptive enchantment” deck from commander 2018
Now the teasers
1. That’s gonna be a eerie interlude variant of teferi's protection mark my words
2. Unless the enchantments deck has illusions there’s no way the esper deck won’t have this.
3. No brainer bag of holding
4. From where you can find this keyword inevitable that a dragon is gonna get the melee mechanic (you find melee in naya colors)
5. Could be a functional reprint of time wipe (one creature makes it all other destroyed)
6. These counters will be on a artifact creature
7. It’s got to be a sacrifice this land effect
8. Curse tribal is but salty and fun for who uses them so rakdos deck is clearly the location based on the commander alone
9. https://forgottenrealms.fandom.com/wiki/Death_tyrant Tada this link is the answer for this one. (A Death tyrant it’s is infact a beholder that’s a skeleton)
10. Either it’s a buff like Colossification or a “Annihilator” effect card or phage, the untouchable effect without the need of activation
11. Whatever this is it’s gonna be brutal a severe benefit for you if they tiggger whatever it is.
12. Again rakdos deck clues to spellslinger so a cascade granter is not a first time thing.

It's possible for Wizards to make a Commander restricted to "Auras matter" like Siona, Captain of the Pyleas.
