And here are those retro frame promo cards
fun fact this art of aven mindcensor may have just gotten every border treatment (past, present, future)
And another thing
Every store that reaches WPN Premium by July 22 will receive two copies of every Rare and Mythic Rare in Adventures in the Forgotten Realms with an all-new treatment not found elsewhere in the set: the iconic D&D ampersand in a glossy, transparent overlay on the front of each card.
Won't be long til Wizards of the Coast takes our promos away again like what happened to LGS owners back in Khans of Tarkir Standard where they faked hosting FNM events in order to sell off the promos online to try to pay off $1,000 worth of monthly rent because they relied too much on sealed product that nobody wanted sitting on shelves collecting dust to try to make ends meet without really investing in the singles market via Crystal Commerce.
What I've noticed my LGS started doing with Modern Horizons 2 is that they're severely limiting the amount of mass box openings for selling singles to cater more toward whales and people who solely want to draft the set with the limited print runs they have available from their local distributor (Southern Hobby) as they don't want to run the risk of another Jumpstart scenario where Wizards of the Coast discontinues it after only two print runs.
"Restriction breeds creativity." - Sheldon Menery on EDH / Commander in Magic: The Gathering
"Cancel Culture is the real reason why everyone's not allowed to have nice things anymore." - Anonymous
"For what will it profit a man if he gains the whole world, and loses his own soul?" - Mark 8:36
"Most men and women will grow up to love their servitude and will never dream of revolution." - Aldous Huxley, Brave New World
"Every life decision is always a risk / reward proposition." - Sanjay Gupta
Dig Through Time looks like it's from an old MTG set in that frame. Honestly I think they're testing the waters for perhaps returning to the retro frame as a way to commemorate the 30th anniversary in two years.

This is a fantastic idea, let ppl who want to draft the set do so. A lot of people at my LGS end up selling back the singles to the store to draft more so it puts the cards into circulation efficiently.

Not really. It's a terrible idea because all it does is create an incentive for LGSs to force their customers to buy the card singles they need elsewhere where they could've made almost as much as those who are willing to buy sealed products from them either to draft or flip online for easy money. By catering to whales more than card single buyers you're losing potential customers and players in the process while at the same time you're probably making more money If you're an LGS owner or employee yet it's already bad enough that there's less foot traffic at LGSs because everyones waiting for the next Standard rotation in September. EDH / Commander alone isn't enough to save Local Game Stores after all as much as we all like to believe that it's capable of saving these businesses from going bankrupt.
Another caveat to all this is that Wizards of the Coast seems to be printing less Paper MTG products in order to double their profits with Hasbro while putting more resources in Secret Lairs as a campaign strategy to bankrupt Local Game Stores (LGSs) nationwide. By doing so they're taking advantage of whales hoarding these products to cut the flow of supply to increase demand just to flip products online rather than allow players to get their hands on them. At the end of the day MTG was never meant to be treated as a Stock Market but more as an affordable card game for everyone to enjoy. Unfortunately this Stock Market mentality has also gone to the heads of a lot of the scalpers buying out products at Walmart and Target to flip online for easy money.

At last something that actually helps the players and stores.
A drop in the desert, but at least.
