the Other four 2.0 version of praetors should come down the line later (Elesh, Sheoldred, Jin, and urabrask) \
and the following below names may or may not get cards as well
(some have a random card or link next to them for reference)
Yawgmoth Phyrexian God form - Yawgmoth's Vile Offering the one and only true depiction of him in god form
Gix - Oppression (depiction)(The Brothers' War Novel)
Mishra (phyrexianized/Compleated)
Abcal-dro (it’s who compleated Belbe/Avila and a member of the inner circle along with gix and croag found on Nemesis novel)
Ashtok - (Shattered Chains Novel)
Croag - (Bloodlines Novel)
Davvol - Encroach/Carnival of Souls (both are depictions)
Kirril - (its who compleated Crovax probably the Nemesis novel)
Sitrik - No Rest for the Wicked (likely depiction)
Y'sith - source
Beast -> Phyrexian Beast Ezuri's Predation (Commander 2021 Quandrix reprint run started before phyrexian type decided)
(Note: chance Fresh meat might make them too but not on list and first printed in New phyrexia)
and beast within (the birth of the card was New phyrexia but yet 9 other prints in theros art. That's Euphemia, Nexus watcher home plane)
Lets rock and roll on phyrexian tribal!
and guess what despite the secret lair and amonkhet those pictures are offically messed up now because Consecrated Sphinx did infact get the errata
but the most shocking is Selenia, Dark Angel got the phyrexian type (im surprised because I didn't know this was selenia after she was captured and compleated by them)
And finally fix the inconsistency of the Zombie creature type for the 7th eddition ones (on Urza Saga they wanted to give them the phyrexian type but it got ruled out, and later they added zombie as a erata )
Also if they did, 7th eddition would be "officially" about another phyrexian invasion (maybe due to the oil)
I liked the Splicers without Phyrexian type. Pushing too far.
I suppose one rule was anything with infect/Phyrexian watermark gets the type?
Looking forward to getting an actual text article. These images are not searchable.

Heck, every day I wake up, I don't go out and kill people - and I'm rewarded by not having legions of enemies! Amazing how that works.
Although ninjas are experts of camouflage and concealment, they are actually horrible liars. This means that no matter where you are, you can shout out, “Are there any ninjas here?” and if there’s a ninja within earshot, he’ll be compelled to respond.
I'm partial towards Dominarian, Shandalari and Segovian, also Esperite.

I would say it was known that the angel Selenia was captured and corrupted by Phyrexia, and I suppose that arguably makes her "Phyrexian" - but it still feels weird to see on her text line now. I was not aware she was actually compleated in any way and I don't think any of her appearances or descriptions have included that - more that she was corrupted or tainted by Phyrexia/Yawgmoth's magic. At least that's how I remember it or have always envisioned it.
I was kind of thinking of Phyrexian as meaning something that originated in Phyrexia, but this update goes beyond that. I wouldn't necessarily have classified Volrath or Greven as Phyrexian even though they have had Phyrexian enhancements and other drastic changes to their bodies. I'm not totally against it but a little surprised by it. Xantcha/Sleeper Agent and K'rrik make total sense, though.
For what it's worth, these changes don't show up on Gatherer as the Oracle wording yet.
Kinda surprised they didn't included Beast Within for "Phyrexian Beast" token, since they didn't care to make more "flavor generic" Consecrated Sphinx cards for future sets anymore
I'm partial towards Dominarian, Shandalari and Segovian, also Esperite.
By the same metric we should have also the Ravnican, Innistradian, Ixalanian tribes and so on.
That's not how creature type works in Magic. They are not bounded by nation or the planet origin.
They make their own species and can be trasversal to any plane of the multiverse.
Phyrexian is pretty much conceptually identical as Vampires or Zombies creature types, a contagious corruption that can take over any kind of creature type regardless of where they come from.

my guess is 4 printings out of 13 are the phyrexian version (but however I’m on your side since the alpha printing is from New phyrexia)
You can Blaim Euphemia, Nexus watcher from Theros with its 9 out of 13
Considering this edit to typing, I wonder if it is safe to assume that next year we will be returning to New Phyrexia?
It might explain why we have a number of myr, artifact lands, and modular cards in this set as either there was not enough room or they were too strong for standard.

Never forget whose grace and favor led to your success and always give your thanks, otherwise you might be doomed to loose it.
Phyrexian is pretty much conceptually identical as Vampires or Zombies creature types, a contagious corruption that can take over any kind of creature type regardless of where they come from.
Except Zombies and Vampires can evolve independently on different planes the same way Humans and Elves and Kithkin and Dragons can. Phyrexian is a bit more biased towards its point of origin.
One might argue if the creature type was Cyborg instead (describing the fusion of artificial and biological nature; also covering the assimilation aspect since the same word is the origin of Borg, cousin to the Phyrexians), then that creature type could reasonably be used for Esper creatures. And it's not like enhancement with etherium is not something that could be exported to other planes by a willing planeswalker acquiring the necessary knowledge.
The Esperite status is quite similar to the Phyrexian, conceptually maybe not further apart than Shadowmoor Duergar and Kaladeshi Dwarves. Phyrexian though is not about such parallel evolution, but about the "bloodline" as far as I can see.
And Consecrated Sphinx shows why that prevention of parallel evolution is backwards. Either that, or the Phyrexians are about to really kick Amonkhet while its already sooo down.

How long does it usually take to update all the MTGO creatures in the Gatherer? I imagine it isn't too long of job to change the code as it's just a cntrl+f search & typing in the updated name... right?
Anyone think it'll be updated in the Gatherer? I sorta feel that would make it more official than MTGO.
I would bet it will be the same day MH2 is added to Gatherer. Would make sense to update the database all at once, instead of two separate times.
To double dip on this the “ranger” errata update as well in MH2 so the phyrexian will probably get errata with them. (Rangers got confirmed as a new type because that type is being introduced in the D&D set by WOTC themselves)
And the living weapons and the two reprints that get the phyrexian type is why we didn't see phyrexian errata wave around kaldheim.
I'm still waiting on Frost Titan, Diffusion Sliver, and Unsettled Mariner receiving errata in the gatherer giving them Ward, myself. That must be on the backburner by Wizards in favor of giving creatures Phyrexian creature type first.
Saffron olive Was on MTGO and he notice a particular type added to creatures
ITS TIME FOR Morophon, the Boundless PHYREXIAN TRIBAL!
