I wonder how often Karametra and her own Harvest Hand will fight for the role of the definitive GW enchantress Commander. In Modern, Sythis is the clear winner for an enchantress deck.
flavor text- "Karametra's love is visible in every leafy meadow and every branch bursting with fruit."
art direction- Action: We would like you to create Sythis, a green and white dryad tied to Karametra, the goddess of the harvest.
For Commander, this is different than Tuvasa the Sunlit in that it draws every time you cast an enchantment spell. Tuvasa was limited to the first enchantment spell each turn. Also, Tuvasa gets access to blue and pumps itself up with every enchantment. If you were running a Karametra, God of Harvests enchantress deck, you probably want to run this as your commander instead.
For Modern, this is a legendary card, so it may not be as good as Argothian Enchantress in muliples, although I don't think most players ever had more than one Argothian on the battlefield at a time. However, it is an enchantment itself and as previously mentioned Sterling Grove is in Modern. What's the better play? Play this card or Sterling Grove first?
Can't wait to get this one! I am always so thrilled to see new Theros cards! Wish they'd make some of these male though since this is similar to Kestia (who will be my enchantress commander), but it is called Enchantress I suppose. Still, get us some enchanters like Starfield Mystic
Art is amazing and effect is excellent. Like a mini Tuvasa.
