Nah, Cursed Totem is appreciated to hose Heliod Ballista and other creature-based combos.
Is there a Protean Hulk combo that dodges both Cursed Totem and one removal spell?
Dodging totem is definitely hard. It's possible you could get there with like, ETB sacrifice creatures? That... might also just solve the removal problem as well, if it's all coming off etb's and death triggers. Sidisi's Faithful works for at least some of them?
Oof the most recent commander deck I built is activated ability tribal oh well at least I have answers in the deck
anyway fantastic Reprint with its $30 price tag. oh I'm wondering if that's the original totem in the canister and if this "flesdrim" fella will end up on a card.

Oh right, now I remember the Disciple of the Vault combos. ...Which take up like 10 or more deck slots.
this doesn't block triggered abilities so they're primarily losing viscera seer and carrion feeder. the real problem with the card is that it's symetrical and that if you want to use it you'll want to side out your own creates with activated abilities or not use any altogether. part of me wonders if this could been a white hate bear for D&T

It's pretty easy to use all creatures with no activated abilities, or figure their activated abilities don't matter if Cursed Totem is so much better. R/X Prowess runs no creatures with activated abilities. Neither does Burn. Big Jund can probably afford to hose its own Scavenging Ooze. Death's Shadow Jund can probably afford to hose its own Hexdrinker or switch to Monastery Swiftspear. Green Tron often doesn't maindeck Walking Ballista. Bring to LightScapeshift is often on variants without Elvish Reclaimer. U/X Control often has Snapcaster Mage as its only creature.
Okay, THIS is the weirdest reprint of the set.
