Misread as Imperial Seal at first. Tbh this doesn't really surprise me, as has been said they've thrown this out as a money reprint for the 3rd time in about 3 years now.

and this is only crazy expensive because of the low availability.... because, let's face it, the card isn't even that good.
basically, if Fierce Empath is printable at common, so should this....
WotC is just keeping this as a mythic because of the stupid financial value this card got from being printed only on Portal.
This card, if released at mythic in a standard legal set initially would be evaluated at like 5 bucks or something.
what a dick move from WotC reprinting it at mythic, could very easily be rare or uncommon.
I don't think it could be printed at uncommon yet. Recruiter of the Guard is rare, and Fierce Empath is significantly worse than both recruiters. Maybe in 2030.
I love this reprint, I think it's harsh to consider it a dick move. It was completely unexpected to see this card reprinted for Modern. I'll take it.
Overall this set is absolutely incredible, everyday my jaw falls down even closer to the ground.
