That anthem is massively pushed, still doubt it shows up anywhere, but it's pushed through the hilt. You could tear through your deck with token strategies to basically always draw pumped gas with it.
I like Abundant Harvest alongside other cmc 1 "look for a land" effects for Pauper. I don't think there is an Oops All Spells variant in that format, but using that spell in such a deck could lead to shenanigans--the entire library is "randomized".
Sylvan Anthem: finally they decided to print the green variant of Glorious Anthem in the right color, that one involving creatures and the creation of tokens. Good the possibility to do the Scry to control what you are going to draw.
===> really nice cards in token decks.
Abundant Harvest: nice tutor with CMC 1 that, at the very worst, cycles itself for G. Impressive for a green spell.
Looking at harvest from archi....That’s a Common?!
the treefolk: Squirrel power my lord squirrels might be a S tier tribe in edh at this rate.
anthem: WIZARDS ITS IMOSSIBLE TO NOT PUT THAT IN A DECK WITH GREEN INVOLVED IT CAN SEE TOKEN CREATURES TOO!
edit for the tree folk: OH SHOOT! OMG! IT INFINITES WITH Ivy Lane Denizen!
On turn 3 no less. Still, doesn't provide haste or protection so something like T2 Rhythm of the Wild, T3 make more mana T4 play both halves might be better.
But I'm not sure that's good enough. The combo is protected till you win but you might be 1 turn too late.
Our Mystical Archive preview enters Pauper today. Joining them in the festivities is a small army of Squirrels in a tree, and a Gaea's Anthem stapled to a Seasons of Growth.
