*Target player creates two tapped 1/1 green Squirrel creature tokens.
*Counter target loyalty ability. (Unsure of the exact wording on this one)
*Exile target card from a graveyard.
*Target player gains 3 life.
I'll bet the Frog Samurai is the "Frog twenty-six years in the making" - because it is probably a callback to Chub Toad, which is kinda sorta the original "Bushido" card.
Witherbloom Command disappointed me in BG Lurrus of the Dream-Den Rock because it often didn't recur a land and it couldn't nuke anything. Here's hoping that "Verdant Command" will disappoint me less.
I don't like the Squirrel focus on Verdant Command. Although I admire the squirrel love in the set overall, I'd have liked this card to be more focused on just being a good overall mini-Command without a tribe focus in its art and effect. The original commands are like that. Tutoring a Legend and placing it on top as a mini-Time of Need for the first option would have been nice.
The Rampant Growth seems absolutely terrible. They had to push this more surely, given there's so many 4 mana double ramp spells with, some upside already, why on earth would you ever want this?

The only upside I see is that you get one mana untapped now. You also get to cast this twice if that matters.

Sorry for my possible english mistakes, I'm not a native speaker.
So we are gonna get samurai instead of ninja this time or is just that single card?

How i feel about competitive players and casual players in EDH: The competitive are german tourists, the casual are italian tourists, both in a italian beach. The italians asking themselves "why are the germans here?" make a legitimate question, the answer is because the beach is beautiful, no matter the country you came from. The italians wanting to ban the germans are dumb, because if the germans pay for their stay and follow the rules like everyone else, they have the right to be in the beach. Hovewer, if the germans started to ask themselves "why are the italians here?"... they would be dumb as hell.

because this is a double ramp spell with upside for 4 mana.
it triggers "on cast" stuff twice, the lands come untapped.... so you'll have one spare mana more than most of those effects on the turn you cast it.
it's just as good as all the other 4 mana spells that tutor up 2 basic lands... better in some decks, worse in others.
it's a fine card.

It's just another permutation of available options but I feel they are running out of designspace for ramp spells using two lands. I would say that it's a bit worse than previous iterations as it gives opponent whole turn to interact with whatever generates additional value from land drops that you have on board before second land hits the board.
Glad to see a new Samurai, sad to get it in Green. I want new tools in Mardu with these kind of stats for my Samurai build. Oh, and a legendary Mardu Samurai please while we're at it!

So the Explosive Vegetation with Rebound is probably mainly to support the G/R storm limited theme, where it's probably going to be one of the archetypes better enablers, by setting you up with both +1 mana and storm count for free on the turn you're trying to go off.

Agreed. In some respects it's similar to Cultivate - comes down a turn later, but refunds you one mana with the land entering untapped, and re-casts itself the next turn for the second land, which is also untapped. I'm playing it in my Sea Monster deck alongside Cultivate for sure.

Green w/ Bushido. Wondering if there'll be a 5 color Bushido commander. If not, why q green Bushido creature?

Nice to see Chub Toad in the samurai armor he deserves. Verdant Command is also the fourth Green card to get a Stifle effect ever.
given all of G’s numerous advantages,
it hardly needed an excessively playable answer to PW ults.
